I've grabbed the latest nightlies for the past several days (since thread title/OP indicated it was fixed) and am still not having any luck with the speakerphone mic. I can't be the only one? Can anyone confirm it actually works for them?

I think the consensus is the camera and microphone won't be fixed until a new JB kernel is available for the bionic.

Same here. Earlier this morning. Appears new one up.

I redownloaded in case it really was a different build (3/12). The md5sum matches between the two files.

Saw that dhacker posted a new 3/12 Kexec was posted. Download and flashed it to rom slot 1. It seemed to flash fine but it doesn't boot for me. Will try again later.

I tried yesterday with the same results. Twice. Started with a clean slot each time. It just sat with a black screen for several minutes before I pulled the battery. I searched today to see if anyone had posted more detailed info to read. Looks like the RAZR is getting JB now and the D4 just got a soak test, so it shouldn't be long before we have an updated kernel anyhow.
Just having fun with Android!

The one I just downloaded is around 155. The one I got this morning off his twitter post was 149. I'll let you know if this one boots

Not sure if that's 100% true. Camera, yes. Others have reported working speakerphone mic, I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

No go. It may be the same one from this morning. Never checked the md5 on that one on twitter. This one is df3876.....0004.

the mic is not working for me ether. but before the fix the speaker was not working ether. now speaker with no mic. but i have been dirty flashing. anyone clean flash it that can report on this.

As for nighty’s now that they are official CM nighty’s:
every night a script runs and produces nighty’s, there is no human there to check that everything is ready. so if it encounters an error when building that night it skips that phone and moves to the next one. but it can also produce a build that will not boot. so be careful and backup your stuff/app's.

this also means that there are usually general CM changes in every nightly but not hardware/bug fix changes for the bionic specifically. if you go into setting/about phone/ updates and touch the update name on the left it will show a change log. listing every change to the code sense the last nightly.

and correct me if I’m wrong but the CMupdater will not install the new update on it's own but you can have it download the update by touching the download icon to the right of the update. then manually reboot into safestrap and install. it will be in the CMupdate folder.

Speaker has worked for me for quite some time (Since early February I believe) -- the first one I flashed. Mic has never worked. I always do clean flashes.

I guess I might have misunderstood the updated thread title/notes in OP in my hopes of having speakerphone+mic working. There's a certain amount of ambiguity there.

Normally I check the md5 but didn't this time. It was only after my unsuccessful flash and subsequent redownload did I compare the checksum between the two files. Sounds like you got the same file as me (both times).

CM will download latest stock kernel nightly but you have to install on your own.

Also the nightlies are built by a "bot" of sorts so it automatically takes "x" dir + "y" dir + "z" dir etc... and compiles automatically so if no one made any changes that day the new build will have a new name but will actually be the same build as the day before

That links up to the 3/9 build, which is working nicely! I'm pretty sure the 3/12 build is broken. The 3/9 build can be used for now on slot 1.

Will we be able to dirty flash the kexec builds or should we do a full wipe?

I'd say it depends on how well the non-kexec build is working. If you aren't having issues a dirty flash may work since it is only kernel related differences. For me my speakerphone wasn't working so I'd not go the dirty route.

Dhacker posted all future nightlies will be based on kexec build. May want to confirm and consider a full wipe to begin with at the minimum.

The 3/13 build dhacker posted on Twitter won't boot either.

Edit: Hmmm. The 3/9 build won't boot for me either. Full wipe, slot 1.

Edit 2: OK. I wiped the entire slot and started from scratch. Got boot now on 3/13.

I'm seeing two for 3/13. One of the files is prepended by JBMR1 and has a newer timestamp.
