Yes... Everything is on the stock kernel with a locked bootloader. The only time it isn't is with a kexec build (wip) ... When the JB ota hits they will grab the proprietary files from it and add them :-)

I'm confused. Once we have jb, we will have a jb kernel right? So what would kexec need to do if we have jb. I was thinking kexec would flash a jb kernel on our ics phones

You're thinking too small my friend. Don't just think about us and where we are at right now. Think locked bootloader in general. Past present and future for all Moto devices then you'll begin to see the big picture

it will also allow us to use a Key lime pie kernel(KLP) for the first KLP roms that come out. and Motorola is unlikely to be giving us a KLP kernel. and even for Jelly bean it will allow a kernel that the devs can change and update.

so far the 3/9 kexec version has been very solid. tiny bit of lag and some scroll tearing. bt and speaker work for me and with camera zoom fx I'd finally consider it a fully usable beta daily driver

I tried the speakerphone, while you can hear someone else on speakerphone, the mic does not work, so that they can't hear you. Can others confirm that speakerphone is fully operational and dstreng can you check your speakerphone mic and confirm that it's working.

Is there a way to redirect the camera on instagram so that it doesn't try to open the stock camera? Or is there's way to put another camera as the stock and kinda trick instagram in a sense?

You can remove the gallery.apk in system/app to remove camera, but it also removes the gallery. You can use a 3rd party gallery app like quickpix for the gallery, and a 3rd party camera app.

Not sure if doing this would give instagram an option to pick camera or not, since I don't use instagram.

I've been freezing the gallery in these roms for quite some time and using quick pic which I think is a better gallery anyways. Doing this will do nothing for instagram as it wouldn't work anyways in the first place
