Not to come off as rude, but how big of a deal is the tearing? I find I hardly notice it

Sent from my Nexus 10

No offense taken, but for me it 's the reason I don't flash it. Not the speakerphone or BT issues.

I just noticed with 307 my WiFi can't see any access points and won't reconnect to my home router. Booting back to stock it works fine. I hadn't seen this before any any prior versions. Has anyone seen this?

Update: Rebooted my router and all is working now - not a 307 issue

Not noticeable, although perhaps I don't know exactly what to look for. A non issue as fare as I am concerned. More concerned with bt and speaker phone issues. P)

I enjoy reading the complaints everyone has... Do you realize you're running Android 4.2.2 on a device with a locked bootloader on an ICS kernel? There will continue to be bugs until we get a new kernel or Hashcode and Dhacker can write the code for the fix. Personally I vote for the developers before I'll hold my breath for big red to release an update.

Calm down... enjoy that you have the latest version of Android. Take a deep breath and relaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax.

Kexec will be in full force soon. It's the future for all Moto devices. f%$k the locked bootloader. Kernel work around here we come.

Someone mentioned a toggle in the network settings somewhat recently to get mms to go through but I can't find the post. Anyone have a refresher for me?

Kexec will be great! When it will it will be implemented, but probably after the bionic is upgraded to 4.1 JB probably later this month. As everyone probably knows the Razor just got its JB OTA. So maybe it will help in updating the Bionic to 4.2.2 and beyond to KLP.

Obsidian,
Aside from a Kexec future, however, I have a question. When updating CM10.1 using the CM updater is there a way of having it automatically update using Safestap 3.11? I tried, and I could only do the manual update. Also, I noticed when I try to reboot to recovery, the phone just cycles for a long time, where I lose patience and do a battery pull. Any ideas?

It depends on how much leverage Verizon has. You need to go to the source and ask Sargentmajoroid or SamuriHL about those issues.

But this is a CM10.1 thread for our beloved Bionic, so let's leave the dreams of the illusive X-Phone with the white whale and enjoy what Hashcode and DHacker have given us, official CM JB 4.2.2 Nightlies! Near Daily Driver perfection, on a locked bootloader, non-the-less ;) I haven't had so much fun since my O Droid days. :)

do we have to reflash gapps with every nightly update? I feel like I read somewhere that CM doesn't wipe gapps. Also has anyone tried the 3/8 build?

Yes, reccomend flashing gapps each time. I'm on 3/8 build now. Working great! No apparent issues except for speakerphone mike still not working, really close to being a Daily Driver. Like Icarus HD as my ICS daily driver and CM10.1 is just smooth jelly :)

That's funny you said that. I said the same thing to Hash (see below)

About SS(twrp) ... I know the CM updater does work with TWRP but with the way our phone is setup along with the way SS works I don't think it's even possible (think splash screen)

Reboot... Yeah it does take a while to reboot but I'm sure they'll get around to it. That's the beauty of nightlies.

Oh and just because there is a new build nightly doesn't always mean something changed build to build

If you are just doing a dirty install (cache/dalvik cache wipe) then you don't need to flash Gapps... It won't hurt but so far I haven't needed to.

Loving this rom. And now we have kexec. I believe with working stock camera i will have to try in the morning it getting late.

I was happy to see the update available pop up before i even found out it was officially CM congrats guys. it took theme long enough.

And now the git change log is in the CM updater mostly CM changes and not specific to our boinic's but should be easier then reading it on git.

Has anyone tried kexec yet? Does it have working stock camera? Sorry if this is in the wrong thread but it doesn't seem like one has been made yet for bionic kexec
