Not to come off as rude, but how big of a deal is the tearing? I find I hardly notice it

No offense taken, but for me it 's the reason I don't flash it. Not the speakerphone or BT issues.

Not noticeable, although perhaps I don't know exactly what to look for. A non issue as fare as I am concerned. More concerned with bt and speaker phone issues. P)No offense taken, but for me it 's the reason I don't flash it. Not the speakerphone or BT issues.

I enjoy reading the complaints everyone has... Do you realize you're running Android 4.2.2 on a device with a locked bootloader on an ICS kernel? There will continue to be bugs until we get a new kernel or Hashcode and Dhacker can write the code for the fix. Personally I vote for the developers before I'll hold my breath for big red to release an update.
Calm down... enjoy that you have the latest version of Android. Take a deep breath and relaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax.

Kexec will be in full force soon. It's the future for all Moto devices. f%$k the locked bootloader. Kernel work around here we come.

Kexec will be great! When it will it will be implemented, but probably after the bionic is upgraded to 4.1 JB probably later this month. As everyone probably knows the Razor just got its JB OTA. So maybe it will help in updating the Bionic to 4.2.2 and beyond to KLP.Kexec will be in full force soon. It's the future for all Moto devices. f%$k the locked bootloader. It depends on how much leverage Verizon has. You need to go to the source and ask Sargentmajoroid or SamuriHL about those issues.I hope Moto Xphone (or nexus 5) or whatever its called, will not come with a locked bootloader.

Yes, reccomend flashing gapps each time. I'm on 3/8 build now. Working great! No apparent issues except for speakerphone mike still not working, really close to being a Daily Driver. Like Icarus HD as my ICS daily driver and CM10.1 is just smooth jellydo we have to reflash gapps with every nightly update? I feel like I read somewhere that CM doesn't wipe gapps. Also has anyone tried the 3/8 build?

Obsidian,
Aside from a Kexec future, however, I have a question. When updating CM10.1 using the CM updater is there a way of having it automatically update using Safestap 3.11? I tried, and I could only do the manual update. Also, I noticed when I try to reboot to recovery, the phone just cycles for a long time, where I lose patience and do a battery pull. Any ideas?
Thanks,
