Do not open stock camera. Try reboot/battery pull. Then only use 3rd party camera apps only. I had success with Camera Zoom FX .

Once the stock camera app is opened, you will have to reboot or battery pull again.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried the stock camera from ICS?

Does anyone else have GPS problems with this? I can't get a full lock in Maps or GPS Status app (usually close to 800m in Maps). I've been doing only system/cache wipes for the nightly but I just did a full wipe and installed maps from the play store prior to restoring any gps related app/data and still no luck.

I am on the 20121212 gapps if it makes any difference.

I have the paid version so I'm not sure if the free has that ability. I have bought around 200 apps which I know everyone can't do but if you see me commenting on something always assume it is the paid version. I always buy them to make sure that I'm contributing to the advancement of the apps.

Yeah I know that the stock tether wasn't working with ics roms but I just happened to try it with the 4.2.2 roms and it fired right up. I'm not sure if Hash just happened to leave/add the code in that you can modify with sqlite editor but it worked for me on a fresh install.

If it fires up for you the name of the network might not be what you made it but the password will be what you set it as. Hope that makes sense but just let me know if you need help.

Stuff like that is what makes this rom so good for me. The camera not working is the only thing that sucks. I personally use a third party keyboard and sms/mms app so I'm good there.

It worked perfectly as you stated, thank you again :D

Glad to help :-) If you ever need help with anything else you can get a hold of me easily on any of my threads. Also I have a great group of regulars that are very knowledgeable.

On a side note:

That goes for everyone else too. Hash is a busy man so he doesn't have the time to respond to everyone's questions but feel free to ask on mine. I honestly don't care about the subject if any of you are confused about something, even if it has been answered before, you can post it on my threads and no one will treat you with disrespect or treat you like you're some dumb noob.

Are you zooming in? Turn on zoom buttons if you need to and zoom in. If it doesn't lock within a few meters then maybe you're onto something... Let me know

Hi there.

I have the newest safestrap installed and flashed this along with the gaps on my wifes bionic. I end up getting the moto logo, the safestrap menu and a boot loop.

I've only ever used CWM on my nexus so this is kind of new. Am I missing something?

Did you flash it in a rom slot you created?

We have a locked bootloader so this is a completely different world for you but is basically the same when it comes to flashing roms.

Yeah people hate on it because they're cheap but you get what you pay for and it's honestly the best supported backup app on the market...

I use that and Nova due to its ability to restore your desktop, including custom icons and all your widgets. Saves me 10-15 mins on widgets and 20-30 mins on custom individual icons on every fresh install...

I can fully restore my desktop, icons, widgets, apps, data & sms/mms in less than 10 minutes

Doesn't restore an ics setup on jb though. Annoying

Cancel that. IT works but the camera and gallery are saying no external storage available.

I'll try it again.

The only thing that seems to have worked is to clear the A-GPS data and let the phone sit for a couple minutes... Not sure why it's able to lock in a few seconds now. I had previously left it out in the same spot for around five minutes with no lock. O well, I'll just be happy it works now.
