Thanks for the response and link! If anyone's curious, the 12/8 gapps I'm using are working just fine

I've been having issues with wifi not working properly. I'll get it to work and then if my phone reboots I won't be able to connect to my wifi again. I tried using wifical.sh but in the process the terminal states that nvs_map.bin not found not setting MAC. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm able to get wifi back if I reflash the rom, but that seems like a bit of overkill. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!

No issues on 1 Bionic running cm11 12/16 but 2nd Bionic will not get wifi no matter what I do. Odd.I've been having issues with wifi not working properly. Edit. Now gummy doesn't get wifi. Ugh. Only stock and 8/21 AOKP connect. Wifi only phone. Started when I upgraded to 3.65 ss yesterday to flash latest cm. Will revert to 3.11 ss and see if that takes care of gummy working again. If so, no cm for me.

wifi working perfectly here on latest cm11 nightly. I did do a full factory reset though on the update. Can't get it to come on in stock or gummy. Comes on in AOKP though. I'm stumped.

So I found this thread
Has anyone else tried this? I'm not exactly familiar enough with what it would be doing to know if it would cause problems or not or if it's even worth trying seeing as how it's a few years old. As I said earlier, when I try the wifical.sh, it tells me that nvs_map.bin is missing. I found this thread while trying to figure out what in the world that actually meant. I searched in the places mentioned in the thread for nvs_map.bin and I wasn't able to find it anywhere. I assume that this is in some way the root of the problem with my wifi. Anyone think that trying this would be worth it? Do you think it could actually fix the problems with wifi?

That's funny. I found same thread today and tried it. I was even able to transfer the nvs file from my good to bad Bionic. So that wasn't problem anymore but got different errors on calibration. No luck in the end. Ran the first command and I it failed. No luck here. I'm still on 246 so rsd is the easiest way to go for me. You on jb stock? So I found this thread

Nope, still on 4.0.4 I don't ever really touch stock. I've considered it, but a while ago when I was having an issue with another rom, I used stock for a few days and ended up deleting some bloatware so the only way I can upgrade to jb is to reflash stock. I don't really want to mess with it, but I might if that could fix the issue with wifi. I just got myself a chromecast yesterday and it's really frustrating to not be able to use my phone with wifi crapping out on me all over the place.
