Moto X seems to be getting some love. More so than I thought. I'm on retail to keep unlimited via Verizon. Latest CM, AOKP or liquid running fine on my Bionic. But the need/desire to move forward is always there.

Has anyone else on 10.1.3 had terrible battery drain? I've tried it twice now thinking I'll settle on a stable 4.2.2 and both times my phone heats up and the battery is 50% in an hour. It is so bad that plugged in just holds it where it is with no increase. I was using a book reader this time that usually only uses a few % but today it and media server are the top offenders.

Battery has been pretty decent for me on 10.1.3.  I've stuck with it as it has been rock solid - no sleep of death/phone sleep of death etc.  Everything works.  I probably just jinxed myself lol

 

I may not be the best test subject on battery tho (which is why I say "decent") - cell signal is extremely wonky in my office, causing my battery to drain faster than normal.  No open wifi to connect to in the office either.

I wasn't able to get any wifi tether working on 4.3, not the stock or any version of the google app. Can anyone tell me specifically what steps they took to enable it? It's the most important thing for my phone as I have no internet otherwise.

Did you go in and set up the stock with a new password? I just went settings-more-tethering-setup changed password and works flawlessly

10-16 seems unstable. Keeps loosing Google services, account and messageing

I hate how this thing seems to keep declining. I've settled in nicely on Liquid 2.10. It's the best 4.3 out IMO.

Over on RootzWiki, Pooka said that there was a kernel issue recently, hopefully things will start looking up again.
