Native AP works. You have to set password. On a Vista you have to tell it you want to enter passphrase. I think there was one more step on laptop but it definitely worked.

Yeah native tether has been working since December.

Also. For you guys holding off on 10.2 for no 3g, I just noticed 3g is actually working there's just no "3g" icon. The bars are blue and I'm getting normal 3g speeds!

Whoa very nice nice!  Do you have to be on latest SS for this?

Nope. I just noticed it since the 9/9 nightly. Could have even been here sooner. :)

Personally I've been noticing a much slower battery drain on cm 10.2 when streaming ex. I listen to documentaries on YouTube/Netflix at work. I got a solid 3 hours in and the battery only drained down to 50%. It could just be an inaccurate battery monitor, and yes I have an extended battery but it normally dwindles to nothing real quick

You're the lucky one, because I have no data when not on LTE.

There's nothing in the changelogs that would indicate fixing the radio files:

unsure how to test whether I have 3g or not since 4g is so strong here.

9/9 nightly looks like a winner so far. The MMS had been troublesome for me prior to this. (or maybe i've messed that up in settings previously) Kyser Permanehnte App and Talkatone Apps seemed to cause freezes but things look great right now.

Now to turn my bionic into a Global Phone!!!     :)

Would love to hear from people who have succeeded in doing this and have had success using it overseas with other SIM cards.

I tried to reproduce by changing network mode. Seems to be one of the frequency bands contained in "global" mode that isn't in any other mode. :(

I had it on global mode at the time, but as you can see from the screenie, LTE is not on. Weird!

I even tried going into the phone "secret" radio settings and playing around and couldn't reproduce it. Not sure where you are but I'm in a fairly dense LTE area so I'm lucky enough to not need 3G.

Im sure it is just a matter of time to focus on it. Hashcode and DHacker never fail to disappoint!

Saw that, would have to be in a 3G only area...

Hm, I'll have to check it out when I get a chance.

Curious question though, was your bluetooth headset working AT ALL before "now"? I ask because bluetooth seems to work on plenty of ROMs for me, but after driving for around 5-10 mins, my phone freezes and has to be hard-rebooted, then bluetooth services have to be disable, then re-enabled to get to listen to music again.

(such a common problem for me, I've written a voice activated script that detects me cussing about it, closes the music app, fixes the bluetooth, and starts playing where I left off)

It had been goofy for me on 10.1 since December.
Would work for a few minutes then sometimes wouldn't work at all.
