no actually I'm running the 4.3 downloading the new gaps as I type this guess that could be the problem thanks for the heads up.

Well Google services still at 38% don't know if it will help with reboots but this ROM is smooth.

Did you make a fresh slot or just flash gapps? Battery% I'm guessing will stay the same. I'd start from scratch. I'm seeing no usage like that. Just a suggestion.

I did make a fresh slot but restored a back up didn't work.  I just wiped the slot and did a fresh install and the google services is at an acceptable level now 7%.

Great.  It really is running very well for me.  DD material for sure.

totally agree just deleted my avatar back up because all the themes on avatar run on this but this is 4.3.  I have noticed that apps open and connect quicker.  the verizon data widget for one  connects very fast.  As this ROM stands everything works tether, bluetooth, streaming, gps etc.  I have not found anything that doesn't work right.

Y'all seem pretty happy with 10.2 8/14. Does this mean the Internal storage issue is fixed?

is wifi not working a known issue? installed 2 separate downloads of 8/14 (and the correct gapps) after factory reset/system wipe of the only slot (1) that i was previously using. both attempts to install leave me without even the ABILITY to turn wifi on. is there an app in the "all" list that i can clear data for?? really weird... any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: even in the "all" apps list there is NOTHING for wifi or a wifi adapter or what have you or anything...is nobody else having this issue?

EDIT 2: cleared cache and dalvik a 2nd time and all is well...whew. very smooth ROM though. thanks to those involved!

A reboot will normally establish wifi connection.

I've had the internal storage issue still after a reboot then another one and it's fine. Seems pretty sporadic so far.

Do any of you have issues with the play store saying no connection? I'm on 8/14 with the new gapps

Edit 1: I reflashed to a fresh slot and play store is fine but wifi is down now

edit 2: wiping cache and dalvik a few times took care of the wifi issue

I cannot establish a data connection at all. Other than that everything is lightning fast!

3G or LTE?

 

I have no issues with LTE, but 3G does not work for me on 10.2 8/14.  Hashcode mentioned that he is working on 3G problems.

That would explain why sometimes I connect right away and other times no connection.

If this happens try reflashing the update with gapps this happened on avatar ROM and that fixed play store

This ROM is great once he gets these little wrinkles ironed out it will be the best ROM for a DD I think.  One thing I noticed was play service was using a lot of battery fresh reflash fixed it.  But now the android OS is using about 50% to 70% killing my battery.
