I'm on the fence still - there's nothing wrong with my Nexus 5, i.e. I don't NEED a new phone, and I still think it might be a tad too big for my liking.  But I might change me mind...:)

I don't technically need a new phone, either, but, the S4 GPE isn't getting a lot of love and while I like the X, I'd like to see what that experience is like with beastly hardware.

I don't need a new device. I want one.
I love my X..just wished the screen and battery were slightly larger.
Boom..14 X comes out and no Dev for VZW.
Turbo is announced.
No Dev for VZW.
So..for someone like me who has become accustomed to some apps like Viper, Tasker and root explorer/Tibu...I require root access.
So...that leaves either no support Sammy Dev whatever or the N6. A moto built Nexus that will work on VZW.
It's larger than I want and a tad more expensive than I'd like but...it should last me for awhile.
I don't need it..but I want it. That type of thought doesn't happen to me that much.. I usually talk myself out of stuff.

What y'all said, I don't really need a new device either BUT the SO does need something a little bigger than her current Moto X & with some better battery life since she won't give up her social media things. So but giving up gifts for some of the "minor" gift giving holidays in the first few months of next year and moving that money forward, I can justify picking up two new N6's and while she doesn't really need 64 Mb, I might as well get her one since you can only grow into storage if you have some to spare!
