Also, the the Full Throttle Battery/Softkey mods work fine on BK, I can confirm, though I don't really like them.

I totally understand. I'm redownloading and starting fresh now -- we'll see.

The biggest thing I'm missing from my S3 is a configurable softkey setup, any direction on solving for that Matt?

You can do that on some variations of source based ROMs. On stock ROMs this becomes very difficult to implement and almost not even worth it.Flashed a fresh download, Gapps and my Titanium backup; 4G with no issue and all seems fine. I'm curious to see if anything changes in ~24 hours like it did previously.

Tapped from my XT926, XT913 or SCH-i535.
If I'm not mistaken there is a app for that. As matt stated before, that would involve button remapping with the implementation of new code,so basically not worth it on a OEM rom

Also, I don;t have time to check the thread, but I didn't see it in the OP. For me, on v1.00 auto brightness seems broken. It always sits on the lowest setting.
Thanks for the nice rom though! I couldnt live with out the power widget toggles. I would prefer a black status bar rather then transparent. Otherwise, I really enjoy this. I am a bit confused why the Blur Camera and AOSP Camera show up. I never have liked the AOSP camera so I would prefer to remove it.

I'd like to see a black bar as well -- As for the two cameras, read the OP carefully -- there are two packages, one that includes the AOSP camera/gallery and one that does not.
I spent some time doing back to back photo comparisons and the 4.2 camera does a much better job with images if for no other reason, it doesn't do that odd 15% crop/zoom thing that the Blur software always does.

Tried to update Google search. It errored on update ans said " Package file was not sighned correctly. Uninstall previous copy of the app ans try again". How would i do this?

You mean this line:As for the two cameras, read the OP carefully -- there are two packages, one that includes the AOSP camera/gallery and one that does not.
4.2 and MotoBlur Cameras. You pick what you like.
If so that's pretty poorly worded. The Motoblur camera technically is a 4.2 camera. All references to 4.2 camera should say AOSP camera. My main problem is the AOSP camera is not named camera as far as I can tell
Interesting, I will have to play with that. Last I checked LG Camera was the only camera UI I could stand. Thanks for the tip as I had no idea Motoblur camera had a crop. I will have to test that.I spent some time doing back to back photo comparisons and the 4.2 camera does a much better job with images if for no other reason, it doesn't do that odd 15% crop/zoom thing that the Blur software always does.

Moto camera is 4.1, and just simply don't use the 4.2 camera... Problem solvedYou mean this line:

Thanks but problem not solved. Read my op. I wanted to remove the aosp camera. I like to keep my app drawer as clean as possible, and "not using it" is not going to solve my problem.
As for the blur camera has the version number changed between ICS and JB?

Maybe freeze it with Ti Backup? As for the camera, we are on 4.1.2, not 4.2.Thanks but problem not solved. Read my op. I wanted to remove the aosp camera. I like to keep my app drawer as clean as possible, and "not using it" is not going to solve my problem.

I personally like to use the 4.2 camera most of the time, but if I want to take Panorama pictures I need the MotoBlur camera.
This is why I have both.
Sorry it didn't look perfect to you lol

After a full day of use. Seems about 10-15% more efficient than stock.

he is making the rom to his liking which seems to be pretty nice. if you feel like working on making your own rom for hours and hours, go aheadAny idea why the inverted contacts and play store from travp624(
) are not working? I have done this a million times before on my D2G running AOKP. I usually extract the zip files and then copy the apk files over from /some/extracted/path/system/app/, then use ES File Explorer(or similar) to change permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot. After reboot, I get the upgrading apps message, and then I am good to go. In this case though, the app upgrade message shows up but People is not showing in the app drawer. Play Store is showing up, and even though I over write PhoneSky.apk, I still get the standard market. Could this be related to the gapps problem, or does the rom still rely on blur contacts?
Also, I don;t have time to check the thread, but I didn't see it in the OP. For me, on v1.00 auto brightness seems broken. It always sits on the lowest setting.

Thanks for the tip on the gallery. I only take panoroma photos so sounds like blur camera is the right choice for me.If you want to remove the 4.2 Camera you have to freeze/or delete the Gallery .apk for it. Its tied into the 4.2 gallery. You remove it, it goes.

What didn't look perfect?

Maybe you should notice that I provided construtive criticism and never put the ROM down? I haven't tried the other ROMs because they did not interest me. I am a programmer just not for android. I work on games, websites and Linux so I have far more respect for the dev so spare me this bs. Maybe you should try to understand that just because people make comments or ask questions it is not a negative thing.
