I'm getting an ota updater notificattion, but when i try to download it it says that there was an error with the download, any help?

Is anyone else getting inconsistent 3G/4G connections? I've had the same issue on two different HD's

If you are on this ROM it shouldn't let you update In believe you have to be stock rooted

yeah the notification would keep reappearing every 5 mins but it seems like it stopped now

Forgive me for asking something that has probably already been asked. Every time i do a search for something I never seem to find what I want.

I would like to get your ROM installed but I'm not sure about the creating the slots etc...

I just had to downgrade back to stock and re root using the droid_razr_hd_utility1.10.zip then apply the 0.7.2 update and restore root. I originally was going to try and get the stock JB ROM and keep root after but was unable to find it and the OTA wont install.

Can you point me to some instructions that go over how take a rooted maxx HD with the 0.7.2 update and install your ROM that I just downloaded. I assume the different slots that I see mentioned are for dual booting, I would be interested in knowing how to do that also.

Any assistance would be much appreciated and I apologize for probably breaking every known forum rule by asking something that I'm sure I could find if I had enough time to read a million posts.

Be on Jellybean on the DROID RAZR HD (Non-Dev Edition). This can be the leaked or official.
Make a ROM Slot in any ROM slot.
Please go to SS3 main menu.
Choose 'Wipe' and then 'Factory Reset'.
Install the .zip (flash it!)
Then flash the latest

The OTAs have been having a problem downloading as of late. Credit goes to Satman80 for those files, both flashable in recovery from rooted ICS. Don't forget to temp unroot/restore root between flashes. Happy roming. If you've already got the 6mb ICS update OTA then you don't need to flash it again go straight to JellyBean.

I have tried to install them and can't seem to get them to work.

The other day I used reverted back to stock ICS then used the Droid Rzr 1.10 utility and reobtained Root. I then temp unrooted and allowed the 0.7.2 update to install then reobtained root to make sure I still had it. Then the instructions I had said to temp unroot and allow the JB OTA to install. I can't get passed that and all other JB roms seem to require that I be on a rooted copy of JB before trying any of them. Do I need to wipe everything from my maxx first? In between I did run setup for market etc... and have been using it.

Ok, I got it.

I went back to the beginning and wiped and flashed back to ICS.
Obtained root with the droid razr 1.10 utility
installed Voodoo OTA keeper and temp unrooted
installed flashed ics incremental update from posting above
restored root (just to make sure I still had it) then temp unrooted
installed the delta ota blur from link above
restored root with Voodoo
installed safestrap 3.05.17
installed recovery
booted to recorvery
created slot
installed custom rom

awesome!!!

I made the slot 3Gig. Do I really need to make it that big or can I get away with 2Gig?

I made a couple rim slots; each slot is 1gb. As far as I know it is just for data. For instance when I make a backup the data size is close to 900mb with 58 apps installed with a couple huge sized games. The entire backup size is 1.3gb so that is why I assume the size allocation is just for user data.

You will need to be rooted. That and safestrap are the only way to install custom roms. But if you are on the latest ota and unrooted you are stuck there til a new root method is found

Hey Matt, I found a post you made with a link to your new RAZR HD utility 1.2 I think on another guys post with his utility in Spanish , you posted and said test ..... well I did .... worked freaking great and the fastest I've used yet.

I was unlocked, rooted on 4.1.2 and had flashed and backed up and flashed till I felt as if my phone was lagging to much. So I downloaded your new utility and ran it.... worked great. I'm still unlocked, I ran the install TWRP option and it rebooted stock and then it booted into TWRP. I then backed up then flashed a ROM and it asked me if I wanted to install Super SU since I was not rooted yet. Of course I did and then it booted fine. I'm still unlocked, rooted on 4.1.2 and running stock with BIG DX jelly extreme theme.

NO LAG.

MUCH APPRECIATION FOR ALL YOUR WORK...
