Man I do not understand all the multipage linking going on for these utlity downloads. Why do I have to fight my way thought 4-5 different sites all telling me the same thing just to download one file? You know the links that link you to a different site, which links you to a different site.I finally found it though, here's hoping it works.
You guys should give Mediafire a try, it's free and it gives registered users (not paid, just registered) 50GB of storage space. Which is plenty of room to store these some what large firmware and recovery tools on and best of all it just shows you the download (none of that multipage scheme you the other sites having going on) and provides links to share it with in the forums. This place reminds of megaupload and that other junk file hosting site that I can't remember the name of.
Good information here, at least I see I'm not the only person to have a motorola phone stuck on the boot screen. The phone I'm working on is probably bricked beyond repair. I tried another utility called RSDlite v 1.6.4 and it simply fails each time, even after taking out the VAR entries in the XML file. Perhaps that utility is for the Ginger Bread firmware though, so I'm going to try this other one called Droid Razr Utility 1.21.zip and see what it can do.
