Just flashed maxximus and this is pretty awesome. Cant wait to see how battery life is. Two things. First, I dont have google now. Am i missing something here? And are there notification toggles to enable ?
GNow was baked into 1.1 but I think he took it out of 1.2 and will release an add-on along with some others for folks who want it. There was some trouble removing it for the ppl who wanted plain 'ol Google Search. As far as I know there are no toggles to enable. Might I suggest widgetsoid on the playstore. I don't use it as I don't really like toggles up there but I know some who do and really like it.

Looking back on it now, I do realize that the request was a pretty selfish thing to make and to everyone that feels as though they will look at this rom as sub par until the add-ons are released I sincerely apologize.
I must say however that the rom has been excellent for me so far but from my experience performing searches on the lapdock, on some roms Google Now would behave as expected while on others it seemed to add more steps to the searches.
There was a .zip posted earlier that would allow the user to remove Google Now and go back to stock Google search but I could not get it to work for me.
It would remove GNOW but would render my search button useless as well as crash my text to speech engine. Then when trying to find and reinstall Google Search from the market , I was unable to locate the app in the Play store which would force me to have to go through the browser to perform any search.
Again I am sorry if my request has given any of you all an inconvenience.
There is a zip available to flash that will put GNOW on your phone but I am not completely sure if it is completely compatible with this rom as I have not tried it. Maybe someone else can chime in on whether it works or not?
As far as the toggles go, I am currently using notification toggles from the Play store and it works flawlessly.

I liked the original Maxximus. I lost the file. Can I have the link and I'll keep it on that ROM cause things seem to not be working right. I'll wait until all the kinks are worked out. On another note if you have Maxximus don't use the car home app. I tried it and now every time I get a text it automatically opens and wants to read me the text and stays on the car home menu. Tried stopping the app and clearing everything but it keeps coming back up.
Try opening it up in Manage Applications and clear defaults. That should do it. Then when you put it in the car dock next time make sure that you don't make that a default action. (you may not have, just sayin')

I didn't really like the AC!D sound, and my personal preference is awesome beats so I flashed that and music players fcd no matter what settings> sound> sound effects or whatever was selected lol. Used rom toolbox to uninstall ac!d, the Dolby stuff, and fx. I did a fast reboot and awesome beats works perfectly, sounds way better too imo.

Got a link to flashable awesome beats? I still have that from my simplex 1.3 backup, can I just use Titanium to restore it from there and then freeze the other stuff with titanium too? Or are there drivers that have to install/uninstall?

To everyone and the developer, I have an issue/question. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have installed Maxximus 1.2. I then installed No Frills and noticed hotplugx so I decided to apply it. I installed No Frills about.. 10 apps in, meaning it was the 10th app I had installed. I have installed no other apps that deal with the CPU.
After getting the phone to a state that I like, I now go in to No-Frills and notice that my choices are the following:
Governor - hotplug, ondemand, userspace, interactive, performance
I/O scheduler - noop, deadline, cfq.
It's weird (well for me) to say the least as to how sio isn't there nor hotplugx.
Any suggestions? I am willing to wipe and start over, no worries.
