Do it. You'll love the inverted gapps! Even if I wasn't running ICS I'd still want the inverted gapps package.

I really like this ROM. One problem that I am having is that I can't get text notifcations to work. If someone has already addressed this, please forgive. I did not see it. Is their some solution to this issue?

That's weird, works on mine. Maybe pull up your stock SMS app and then go to settings and make sure Notifications is checked.

Go into go SMS settings and make sure it isn't setup to disable other notifications. I can't remember the name of the check box but I'm pretty sure it is auto marked when you install it. That setting tends to cause problems. You have to do that bit manually. I'll try to dl it real quick and check it out.

Edit: in gosms hit menu then settings > advanced > receive setting and uncheck Disable other message notifications.

Just flashed he latest of this onto my Maxx and so far I m liking it! Looks like the the exchange issue has been sorted out which is awesome. Just out of curiosity, is anyone else getting no sound in or out if the Bluetooth radio is enabled? Its not even paired with anything, but if its turned on, there is no sound at all.

hardkeys? it happens sometime, if u really want them back, wipe everything and re-flashto get them back. its happend to me 3x outta like 10.

Yep, I have that problem too. A bit aggravating but I'll live for now. Im more concerned about the camera. Otherwise this is the best ever!

Softkeys work that way in stock as well. If its bright out side they don't light up & vibration is weak. If it's dark, vibration is hard & they light up. I have no clue why

Does anyone know how I go about updating my kernel version to use the current build? I'm currently on the 2-7-12 release. Thanks for your assistance! I know I need to switch to 16x just don't know what the process is.

ok im trying to install the latest version. but when i unzip it to my desktop it gives me 2 folders. which ones do i place on my sd card the meta folder or system or both?

Why are you unzipping it? Put the file on your SD and flash it.
