Yep after many many tries I found out that the newer builds require the newest OTA to function. All set now though.... is right you have to flash the new builds over .17X it has a different baseband and will cause radio issues.

Thanks for the quick response....sorry for the noob question but how would i go about transfering a file though? Everyone needs to get gapps on the phone so how is it being done?

- reboot into recovery
- go to mounts and restore then select mount usb option, your computer should see it then
- Transfer file, unmount usb then install like you would any other zip file.

If you're using safestrap/bootstrap:
- reboot into recovery
- go to mounts and restore then select mount usb option, your computer should see it then
- Transfer file, unmount usb then install like you would any other zip file.
OOHHHHH your just the best!!!! thanks a lot. It didn't work at first but rebooted phone then it worked without even selecting that option. With data working and Gapps this is good enough for a daily build! Thanks guys!

Well I'm re-rooted on .173 so I'm gonna try to flash the 2-9 build now.
I'm trying to update to 173 so I can do the same. Let me know how it works for you.

Hey if at all possible, anyone think the inverted gapps will work on our Razr's with this ROM?
Someone (sorry I can't remember who off hand) linked to those a couple pages back. A few said they worked but I never got around to testing them myself. Was waiting to get to the 2-9 build.

So if your wanting to flash the Inverted gapps, when your running these, it will work, i can confirm as i am running it right now without any problems or errors while doing it.
Flash 2-9, wipe cache and dalvik, flash gapps found from the link i just posted.
Boot, setup your phone, boot into CWR or Safestrap recovery, wipe cache and dalvik, flash the Inverted app of your choice, reboot. and continue this process for as many inverted apps as you choose. !! should work no problem!

I'm already running the 2-9 build with gapps installed...should i wipe, reflash 2-9 then install the new updated gapps? Or just wipe cache and delvik and flash the new gapps?

Running safestrap 1.08 and running the 2-9 gapps package and 2-9 ICS I booted into recovery on my safe side and wiped cache and dalvik, flashed the 2-11 gapps package.
From there I rebooted. Then went back into recovery and flash the inverted gapps package and rebooted. From there back into recovery and flashed calender 2 zip and rebooted. Back into recovery and flashed talk 2 zip and rebooted. GTG now and looks great.
