Full switch of the Core to AOSP from CM

I will be working on porting all of AXI0M's goodies into the source this evening.

So exciting - but why the move away from CM9?

I'm unfamiliar with AXI0M... is this going to be taking us farther away from stock ICS? That's one of the biggest reasons I'm not on razrx - I don't like cheesy icons and weird animations. Same reason I moved away from JoelZ's roms on Dinc... it was just too much flash for me.

1: Because a Modded AOSP is superior to full CM build IMO 2: Because it will be ours.

AXI0M was my GNEX ROM, Control Panel to customize Toggles, Launcher, and Soft keys, Advanced Power Menu, Modded Launcher, and more.

Everything will be pure. If you have used anything dhacker or myself have used, you know we don't add over the top themes. Between the work hashcode, dhacker have done since that first boot I had on my first RAZR, and some nice mods and my favorite part... making it stupid fast and smooth. It should turn out to be a Sweet project.

Followup question: is this AOSP build still going to be hosted on github for perusal? I'm thinking of poking around there a little. Noticing a little quirks on my phone that shouldn't be too hard to debug.

We have three super-devs working on ONE ROM? This is going to be incredible once it's all wrapped up.

Full switch of the Core to AOSP from CM and I am going to be modding the $#!+ out of things tonight. Now that dhacker and myself are on the same device once again we can do more than just Gtalk each other and complain about things. lol.

Couldn't be more pumped! Really lookn forward to things to come. As great as the next release will surely be, it would be great if you and D-Hacker would give away a Carmel Latte with every download........and then.........and...

Does this mean a simple update is out of the question, we will need to wipe everything?

Unless they say otherwise, yes. But with an alpha project that's to be expected. But on bionic DT got into the small wipe updates. Meaning only cache and dalvik. Unless you love experimenting, and don't mind redoing things, hold off.

With this all star cast.. we will see the best of the best, extremely fast.

I'm willing to sacrifice one of my two razrs to the building of this rom lol. ...I'm serious. I'll test anything so long as it's not created for sole intention of being malicious but rather magnificent as I know this will be.

I have not been able to connect to my home wifi at all. It was working good and now it say's poor connection and wont lock in. I don't have a solution, just waiting for the Dev's to get this rom finished.

Haven't had this issue myself, but if a reboot hasn't helped, and other devices are able to connect, maybe try booting recovery/ wipe cache-wipe Dalvic/ Reboot.
I had done this after having major battery issue and seemed to resolve issue. Worth a try for as simple as it is, although I admit to not having a clue why it worked in my case

I wiped cache/dalvic last night, it did not help.

One more thing to try is go into your wifi settings, select your connection/ click 'forget',/ then re-enter your pass code and see if that helps.
