The animation app boots into stock recovery. Press both volume buttons and a menu will appear. Use volume buttons to navigate and power to select. Reboot from the menu and then boot into safestrap. There will be a framework zip on your sdcard, flash it. As for Home pages, no clue man.

Thanks for the advice. I don't typically change animation but figured I would see what some of the settings were all about. Very nice ROM with great battery life! This ROM has my 'Thurderbolt' friends jealous, especially with SafeStrap allowing for multiple ROMS to be loaded at the same time...Thanks HC and DH!

Does it restore your stock launcher? That could be the issue. Blurry only has nova and apex. I think there is the m launcher somewhere that might help.

I'm not sure, I never went back to my stock rom and tried backing it up. I thought MyBackup Pro would be a nice app to quickly load an andriod home page for evaluation after flashing a new ROM when I'm evaluating it. I have been able to backup and restore phone logs, MMS, SMS and apps so all in not lost except my android home. Over all, that's not too bad.

Let me provide a day 1 report. All aspects of the rom appear to be working as intended. Obviously, I will have to wait to determine battery life on the non-oc version. I rebooted yesterday and lost the governors, but today's reboot allowed me to keep the governors. I wonder if the time between reboots allowed me to keep the governors. I have noted one oddity, google search will not work from the google search widget. If anyone has any suggestions to fix this problem, it would be appreciated. (Oh, the voice search works just fine.)

I decided to try to fix the search problem (gnow) and succeeded. I flashed the inverted gnow app from the blurryzips folder and the app works fine now. Strange, but it works. Otherwise the rom exceeds expectations.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced losing the extra governors on reboot and if so, is there a solution that keeps the governors? I am in the process of reinstalling the rom and hoping for the best. (I am using the non-oc version of the latest version.) :D

No, never had the issue. The gov and scheduler are locked so you can't actually change them. They are optimized to the maxx.

The theme has not been updated, but if u liked 3.8 then it should work great. If there is interest...I could update the theme.

I should have phrased that differently. I meant to ask if it's still compatible with the new 4.3.1.

Sorry about that.

Np. Answer is yes. But if u don't like it..u will have to restore a backup or reflash the ROM since I don't have a stock 4.3.1 link made.

Great rom, much better than stock. Is there any way to disable to windows from spinning every time one opens though? It's making me sick.

You could try settings -> Developer options -> window animation (and right below it transition animation scale) and set them to animation off.

You could also use Animation Manager to change to different animations. There are some really good ones in there.

I have been using this ROM for a couple of days now and I have a couple of questions (sorry if these were answered already. I don't have the time to go through 36 pages :) )

When my phone starts the status bar doesn't show anything, e.g. the clock, signal, or alerts. Any idea why? I'm using the Nova launcher.

Next, is there a way to not use either Nova or Apex launchers and just the standard one? Just curious.

Also, the links in the second post are not coming up for me. Did they get removed for some reason?

Thanks for the help and the ROM is running great so far.

"Then it came after me, it got into my hand and it went bad, so I lopped it off at the wrist."
