Does Google Now really work?

It seems to work, but doesn't actually. It never stays turned on. Everytime I tap the search it gives me the prompt like its the first time its been opened. If you hit settings while in google now it shows that "google now" is "off".

I've wiped/cleared everything, flashed the rom, rebooted, gave it time to settle, then flashed google now inverted.zip. I've repeated this twice with the same result.

I think it went into the download folder on my internal memory is that where it is supposed to be?

OK what I did I think is I downloaded it to my sd card and installed it there in firedonkey But don't hold me to that you mite message timmy10shoes and ask him OK

Open firedonkey, it will make a folder on your internal sdcard. Put the logo in the custom bootlogo folder. Open firedonkey and choose custom logo and the logo you want

Just wanted to say thanks again for a kick rear end rom. 11 1/2 hours so far, with 20% left. 1 hour talk, 1 1/2 hour web surfing, and an hour with music at the gym.

I couldn't get GNow to work at first...but when I inverted it, it seemed to work just fine. Cards are always set...search button always brings it up and siri like talk back also works.

Same here and I actually used Google Now this afternoon to get directions back to town traveling through the woods. It does work, but not everything is reliable and I'm yet to see schedule reminders "you should leave by 2pm to make you 2:30 appointment" or similar like I used to get with JB. Sorli...

This rom is running great, and after a few questions, answered by Eye_dea, I got it down pat now. Wish I knew what the different animations did as far as what chaos does and so forth, the ones that arent self explanatory...sucks having to reboot and flash just to see them.

I still just want 5G LOL. I saw that and bout lost it. I finally got 4g out at the ranch. Getting greedy I guess. Gonna flash back to my backup of this today and finish setting it up with some of the new tweaks.

Alright, So I can see you can up the overclock in the tweakers app, is there a table for safe OC and voltages? I have it set on 1250mhz right now, seems all is fine.

Are there any tips or tricks to using the tweakers app?
