my status bar seems to have dissapeared...has anyone else had this problem? I tried reflashing the rom on top again to see if that helped, as well as the new toggles and the inverted google now. Any help would be great! Thanks!
I have this problem too. It seems to come back if a notification triggers. I use Handcent for my messaging app and in the notification settings you can send a test notification. That brings my status Bar icons back.

Please also note, some of these options actually cause my Bionic to reboot and I basically found these two by luck and had to manually switch twice before getting it right. I think one of the ones that caused me problems and happen to look great was interesting presentation wise was Twisted Rubik. Either way, I was wanting something more simplistic and the two above are working just fine. Sorli...
I preferred the window transitions on previous versions, i.e. the horizontal/vertical transitions rather than 3.8's swirly transitions. Any way I can get the previous version's transitions back?
Also, my battery also reads 40% on 3.8 while reading 90% on previous version. What calibration method is recommended?

I had flashes the new toggles and the inverted google now. I fixed it by flashing the old right clock mod but once you get a new one ported, I will flash that and try the new toggles again to see if they work this time

Very generous of you man. I would rather you donate to Hashcode. If it was not for him...we would not be doing any of this stuff.
Absolutely will do.
Question. I tried the Animation Manager. Just picked one, hit apply, it did it's thing, phone rebooted. But instead of going in to ss, it showed Andy laying on his back, stomach open, triangle there with exclamation point. Is this part of the Animation? I waited a minute, scratched my head, thought something was up, and pulled the battery. Booted in to ss. Everything loaded. Just curious.
Edit. Donation sent. Your name on it.

Yes. Via Animation Manager in app drawer. Just read my post above yours about what happened when I switched

I misunderstood your post. You'll have to wait for someone else to chime in on that. Don't know if it's possible to have no animation. Sorry.

The animation app boots straight into recovery after it finishes building the framework, but since we're are safestrap it boots into stock recovery. No need for s battery pull. Press both volume buttons and a menu will pop up. Just hit power to reboot.Absolutely will do.

To add to Tims statement -
The zip you want to flash will be on the root of your SD card.
Appreciate you donating to hashcode too.

I flashed only the ROM (3.8)--no mods, etc. I had the status bar issue once or twice on the previous version as well.

I love the design of this rom, meaning all the changed icons in settings and gmail and the tweaks! Thanks for for your hard work and time. Awesome job!! My only gripe, and the reason I switched back to a different rom, is the screen animations. I can't bare to look at my window twist again. That makes me crazy! I want to throw my phone, so rather than do that and pay to replace it, I just switched roms. Is there anyway to remove all window animations?
Settings > Developer Options > Window animation > Off. I do the same for Transition animation.
