Unless I didn't clean up my apps via tibu before flashing this, didn't this rom come with twitter 3.6.0 installed. I froze it because I have an old tweetcaster I still use. Have no issues.

It's a system app. You can't open that?

Doh! I didn't even look. I was just looking on Play and saw it wasn't installed lol. It's there and an awesome inverted version to boot!

Absolutely loving this update. Beautiful and smooth. I think I need a new battery though. No matter what Rom, even stock I get major drops and calibration doesn't seem to do jack.
Also, out of curiosity, why do you guys go with aosp exchange email instead of the new blur? It has nice functions like 4.2 Gmail (ie swipe functions to delete or move email).

Here at CES and learning a great deal. I just downloaded this rom and having a good time with it. I am curious how it will handle the battery life. I may have found a small issue, I tried to toggle personalized voice recognition in the setup and it will not take the check mark. I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if so, is there a workaround.

I preferred the window transitions on previous versions, i.e. the horizontal/vertical transitions rather than 3.8's swirly transitions. Any way I can get the previous version's transitions back?

Also, my battery also reads 40% on 3.8 while reading 90% on previous version. What calibration method is recommended?

Been running with seeder 2.4 apk. It was updated again to 2.6 at some point today. Not even flashable zip any longer...As I mentioned earlier, have seen a definite improvement on my HP Touchpad.

Yes, use the animation manager app and choose any window animation you like.

I can't remember if Icarus has RAZR m messenger or not. But, flash this one cause its got the best look of any of them in my opinion.

my status bar seems to have dissapeared...has anyone else had this problem? I tried reflashing the rom on top again to see if that helped, as well as the new toggles and the inverted google now. Any help would be great! Thanks!

I have experienced this too. Have found that waiting a bit brings it back. Rebooting can work to. That said, it is rather annoying.

I've been running the rom for a few daysv and have yet to experience that issue. Did you wipe everything before you flashed?

Haven't lost the status bar, but I realize I can't flash the green charge batt mod 3d toggles and have them both. One overwrites the other. Google Now still works.

You did a full wipe, reinstalled rom, and had no status bar?

Think I'm going to just get used to not having the green batt mod running as you pointed out as your reason for not having it. I like the toggles timmy posted too much.

Been running with seeder 2.4 apk. It was updated again to 2.6 at some point today. Not even flashable zip any longer. Mucho debate on this app over at the other site. I can't oc my phone. I'm pretty damn positive I'm seeing a pretty snappy improvement overall (tibu loading, news feeds, ect). But I also switched for the first time to Nova. Always ran Apex. As I mentioned earlier, have seen a definite improvement on my HP Touchpad.

Was gonna send a bottle of Cuervo your way, but I can't find a link to donate. Possible to set one up? This rom is damn hot, and I like to do a little pay back. If there is an issue about posting this someone can remove.

Calibrate: Let the phone die till it shuts off then charge it completely while its off. Try that a few times and see if it helps.
You can easily change the email apk. Just delete the email and (possibly) exchange apps in /data and add your own email. May need to wipe cache and dalvik if it causes issues.

Well I can verify this works. I first tried moving the email and exchange apps to /system like Timmy said but all that did was make me lose that awesome blue Gmail icon.
Then I just deleted them both and restored a backup of email 4.4.498 from Icarus and exchange now works perfect!
Now is there any way to get that blue Gmail icon back? Gmail is still themed just has the old icon.
