Better? Like how?

like the ones from Eclipse... Those are some fancy good looking toggles! Simple but good looking.

Blurry maxx works great on safe strap 3.11 my friends. And blazo, I have a zip that eye dea made for me you can flash to make your toggles look like eclipse toggles. It will give you the sweet looking thin circle battery mod too.

No. That zip is for custom ROMs . I've flashed it on blurry, eclipse, and Icarus.

I meant, blurry max works with safestrap 3.11 over stock system? I'm not even making it to the boot animation, and it sat for > 5 minutes.

IF you are still running safe strap 3.5, you need to activate stock slot and boot into stock. Delete the old safe strap files from SD card. Uninstall old safestrap app. Install safe strap 3.11 and go into safe strap app and select install recovery. Then reboot phone into new safe strap. Create new slot at 1 gig. Then flash blurry maxx onto new ROM slot. Set up again and your good to go.

Does it have to be a ROM-Slot-x ? with x being 1-4. Or can it be over stock ROM?

DO NOT try to flash a custom ROM over stock slot. That slot is to remain stock. Activate another ROM slot to flash custom ROMs on.

Only difference ive noticed with version 3.11 is the battery percentage is gone in safe strap menu. As far as I know you should be able to restore backups from version 3.5 onto 3.11. I just went ahead and deleted all of my old safe strap files and backups and started fresh and new.

Well sure. I've taken ample precautions to ensure that I won't lose anything (necessary backups) and am versed in fxzing, etc, etc. As well as having a standalone battery charger, moto dev cable, etc. So I am not afraid to screw things up.

Is there any way to flash this over the stock system? I currently have eclipse 1.2.1 as my stock, flashed via Bootstrap, then uninstalled BS (using proper methods as per hash's blog/howto), and now have safestrap 3.11

Is there something that is explicitly preventing us from installing Blurry_2.5 over the stock system, via boostrap or ss3.11 over stock system? If so, I am curious as to what it is, and what are the actual limiting constraints.

I am curious and interested in how this all fits together. I like to chew on it and think about these things. Brain candy if you will.

Not sure why its not booting over stock ROM in the new safestrap. I do know this though...Blurry does not flash using Bootstrap. According to the new safestrap, you should be able to flash over the Stock ROM...but why? You have 4 other slots available. Flashing over the Stock ROM only means eventually you will need to fxz back to stock...which is not a big deal, but why even bother. Just my opinion.

Hashcode put the changelog on his OP. I installed just to make sure that Blurry works on it. I think it was mainly updated for the Razr people, but I like to stay current with the updates as well.

The performance degradation from running the system, data, and cache partitions on top of the fat32 emmc partition kills me. I can notice a substantial hit.

If we're using the BP tools modified bootstrap, or the new safestrap 3.11, we are able to boot into a recovery that we can then backup or restore previous installs, even without a working 'ROM'

I realize that the more involved ROM developers are likely to prefer the ability to quickly switch between builds using the TWRP Safestrap 3.11 mechanism (I come from the days of dual booting my desktop with slackware and win2k)
however it seems inefficient for me to work within the constraints of this multiboot mechanism when I'm switching between installs less frequently, when it seems more sensible to spend a few more minutes moving the archive/dumps from a backup/zip install over to the faster internal memory outside of the emmc / as opposed to /mnt/sdcard

I understand what your saying, but I am not sure I can help you figure things out anymore than what you have already done. I ditched bootstrap a long time ago and haven't missed it. Not saying its a bad app, but safestrap makes the process much easier and safer.

Hey, I am new to this ROM and I love it but the module and governors don't seem to show on either 2.5 or maxx in no frills CPU. I'm not new to ROMs, but I'm aware there could be something simple I'm missing here, only the generic 5 or so are there, I loved smartassv2 with Icarus
