quick question. I flashed this ROM because it says ICS Kernel and that made me think this isn't something I can't jump back from, but safestrap didn't let me go back to stock. That is making me think it is JB and I'm stuck. I've tried reading around, but not sure and don't want to just try and end up with a brick. Can I use the droidrazrutility to flash my phone back to .211 from this and get the .311 loaded or am I stuck as I thought? I know this is answered in the millions of posts all over several forums, but often the more I read the more I'm confused do to anyone can post on these. Not just people knowing exactly what they are doing.

It would be back to bone stock as long as you did not do OTA JB update. If you still have ICS OTA then you are good to use matt utility.

and also. if ur on ICS, any of the 3 ROMs found in the OP can be flashed on your device if ur on ICS using 211, 214 and or 215 system versions. the ROM that was found in post like 1861 was a JB based ROM, so... not sure how you "bricked"..

I got the CNA of the front page, so i guess I'm good to go. I was asking because I couldn't find any thing confirming it was ok and I wouldn't brick. Just figured better to ask first rather than risk it. Sweet. I'll be flashing back to stock and loading the JB dual boot 3.11 tonight. If I'm lucky I'll have it all working back on this ROM before I go to work in the morning. I'm look forward to the Blur ROM also. Didn't know how much I used some of that stuff until it was gone. Thanks for the answer. I had to try and get as much of my dirt bike top end back on so it was ready for the head I'm going to port in the next couple days. Of course, that didn't go as far as I hoped. No tech support from companies on Sunday like you get from these forums.

Alright man I also highly reccommend getting his BW JB OTA ROM when he releases it here in a little bit. In order to do that though you have to download the OTA manually. Just a thought though man. There are instructions on how to do it and keep the root somewhere on the main page.

I'll look at that. I think the original utility has a root keeper, but not sure how that would work with the JB dual boot utility or the modified 3.11 safe strap. Guess that mean more reading. Got it back to stock now, so starting out good. Just got to try and not make a mistake while watching the Supercross races. LOL

Yeah man all I can say is follow the directions if you decide to. It is amazing how successful people can be if they just follow the directions. It is listed step by step for a reason haha

Okay, not where I planned to be, but I'm in a good spot. I got the clean .211 loaded. Installed SS 3.11 and made a backup of that just in case. I then tired to load my old original that was lost when SS 2.11 didn't work right. That doesn't work, so I swapped to SS2 loaded my original. Then swapped back to SS3 and backed that up. My question now is if I load SS2 again and flash my CNA backup, can install SS 3.11 on top of it? Then I can make a backup in SS 3.11 and work my way to where I want to be at until he releases his the next ROM. Just not sure if I can use the JBDualBoot Utility to load 3.11 on the CNA ROM.

Well so far the home button does not work. Lockscreen does not work either. Otherwise is took a couple reboots to get to the actual homescreen but it ended up working.

EDIT: Also the notification bar and pull down does not show anything at all when getting notifications

go back, do a full wipe, install. and reboot system. If when device setup screen pops up, and there is no SystemUI, power off the device, then power back on. After it gets back to the device setup screen, everything should be good to go, afterwards it should boot right up into the homescreen and it should be all functional. ***********************If you do not get it like this, then obviously something is wrong and its recommended to go back and do a full wipe and re-flash. Ive flashed this numerous times now, and that has only happened once or twice, and doing what i said above, will resolve the issues!

*however, apart of the ROM atm, there is no 1% Accurate battery Mod yet, mine is not working and i am still looking/working on a fix. looking past that, there shouldnt be any other issues with the ROM. MMS is working, phone works, email works, Play is working, talk is working, HDMI is working... i dont know about bluetooth since i never have and prolly never will use it, so yeah......... It is what It is~
