and this phone was the MAXX i just recently purchased off contract @ full price. My OG razr was insured through Diamond, so im guessing im sh!t outta luck here... not really sure what i plan to do now, but it surely is going to make updates harder. Might just end up getting the maxx hd? sigh

Yo dude, you can try calling them and asking if they can send you a refurbished Razr Maxx for your OG razr...Verizon has been known to send maxxs for og razrs...It's wort a try! Just make up some bullpoop like the battery isn't accurate and you've tried everything to fix it.

As much as I would like to encourage you to get an HD (do it!)...I must be honest and tell you I am pretty sure the insurance transfers to whatever phone is currently on your line...so I recommend you leave the Maxx on there and call an insurance claim before you do anything else...

you would never delete Play. use a file manager to navigate to your system/app directory, delete the play music apk and then reboot for it to be deleted from the system.. after it reboots, you can open Play and download the new music.

lol, i have a job that i work 60-70hrs a week.. and most nights after an 11 hour day i just wanna burn one and then relax.... the update will come, i get my replacement Maxx tomorrow in the mail, so more than likely.. this weekend you will be seeing an update build. Is it really that big of a deal to not run the previous build? instead of saying u will just run stock.. i mean there are plenty of good Ics roms to check out in the meantime if its that big of a deal. but the nagging comments arent going to get me to do anything quicker.......... as i have stated this before. i dont get paid to do this stuff, i do it in my free time when i get a chance!

Showing appreciation is considered by trying to determine what I was thinking when I wrote the post that started all of this? That kid can butt out and your assumption of what I said was way wrong my friend and the fact that you got so defensive kind of shocks me as I have never been one to blast you or your updates. Andlaw- I can see the guy was joking around...and mvp4him3 I think you are also over reaching a bit here...I read through the posts just prior to yours, and I don't see anyone bashing you or butting in other than the one comment about burning one and chilling, which to me does not appear derogatory in any way at all. Wow, I'm a little offended. I support Andlaw constantly and show my appreciation. Doing so doesn't make me a fanboy. I'm going to miss having black widow after this weekend but I definitely won't miss the derogatory comments that get thrown around for no good reason. Thank you for all you do andlaw. I'm not going to insult anyone so I'm just going to leave it at this. Let the man do his thing on his time, pissing him off will cause you to lose a great Dev.
