I'm attempting to change my notification bar background or also add some transparency, with no luck. Anyone have a solution? Ps. My launcher is apex

You can change the pulldown image in rom control and no transparency options on this rom. If thats what you are wanting to change

actually just the bar itself, all good though. I just did something stupid and have to reflash anyway.
I didn't move this backup to my sd before updating ss
now I get to play with it again

ALSO another problem I face is battery going for 14% straight down to 4%, every time. this is NOT ROM ISSUE as i had faced same problem with other roms too. ( do not know about default system since I never used it for more than 5-10 mins to install safestrap.) Is anyone else facing same issue? If so is there any solution to it?

I ran into this issue myself on my OG Razr. Unfortunately, nothing I did fixed the problem. I tried everything I could think of. Fastboots, battery stat resets, draining battery, battery calibration with the app off the play store, etc. Absolutely nothing worked! Eventually I had to call Verizon and explain the problem to them and I was able to get them to send me a refurbished Razr Maxx. So far I have not run into the issue again.

Since getting my Maxx, I've stayed away from draining the battery completely like the plague (I've yet to drain my Maxx since I got it 5 months ago). I never reset the battery stats anymore and never run into any issues with my battery meter being off. I have found that resetting the battery stats isn't necessary as long as I make sure that when I flash a new ROM, I do so at full battery. I also stay away from powering on and powering off the phone while plugged into a charger. I used to do that a lot on my OG Razr and I've since read that can cause software and/or battery problems.

No charge. I called Verizon and very politely explained the situation, they transferred me to technical support, to whom I again very politely explained that every troubleshooting method that they were suggesting had already been done by myself. I then asked them about the possibility of having a Maxx shipped to me instead of an OG Razr, as I had read about Verizon doing this for various people. The rep told me that she hadn't heard of anyone having this done for them, but went on to tell me that if I continued to have problems with the replacement Razr, to ship it back and she'd swap me to a Maxx. I agreed, replacement order was submitted, I thanked her for her time, and we ended the call.

The next day I received a call from the same rep and to my surprise, she explained to me that she had shipped me a Maxx instead of an OG Razr. So, if you are polite and with a little bit of luck you may be able to get a refurbished Maxx sent to you. If for some reason the replacement they send you has any problems (mine did), they will overnight you replacements until you get one that you're happy with. My magic number was 3 replacement Maxxes. Just make sure you send any phone you will not be keeping back in the proper return package. Good luck!

Please Help

Ok, i was setting up some apps and shortcuts in my NavBar,
all of the sudden it FC's ans says "Unfortunately, ROM Control has stopped.
I have wiped my cache and dalvic, any suggestions???
or do I have to load my backup, I don't really want to as I have made some changes that took a while.

I just loaded up my backup, I still don't know what exactly caused the issue. It is fully working now.

Looking forward to flashing this once I read through the entire post. This will be my first rom. I'm on page 30, through the frustration part. Everyone raves about your rom so I just wanted to say thanks in advance for all the hard work and care you put into it.

Yes, this is an awesome rom. Especially for your first flashed rom. I'ts good to try multiple roms to see what your preference is, however, I am pretty sure you will want to stick with this one. I know I will for quite some time.

It lasts me about 9 hours with moderate use (without too many downloads), so yes.

One other thing I found strange, it could be when i deleted SMS popup, I went into Go SMS, and in my notification settings. For some reason then, my notification settings said that system settings vibration was off even though it was on. I then simply reinstalled SMS Popup from the playstore and enabled some notifications without using the popup, and my vibration notifications are back. Oh, and when my phone was set to vibrate only before reinstalling sms popup it was working, but not with sound and vibrate on at the same time. So I would probably recommend messing with the sms popup settings before deleting it or simply do not delete it. Playing a lot with the settings lately, and there are very many. keeping my thumbs busy.

sadly my RAZR will be gone before you get settled in to Ohio. I'll be moving on to the N4 when it drops. But I will definitely have black widow rocking on this beast until it's time to sell it.

hmm, dunno how many times i have to answer this question............


reading usually helps. remove the pictures and videos taken from a blur based ROM that arent showing up in the gallery. move them from that directory so the gallery doesnt detect them... problem solved. its been this way for months and was the same on ICS Aokp and CM9. back to Zzzzzzz
