Liking it so far...But got a question, how do I uninstall google maps and adfree? Basically I use mapquest because maps runs in the background and one of my games I have to have ads enabled or I can't do any of the "free offers".

Also, is it safe to implement other modules from other jb roms such as peg?

To my understanding, it is a problem somehow related to the current JB builds. I was seeing the same issue, regardless of the rom, as have several friends of mine....basically, I'm thinking we'll just have to wait for better builds to come along...

Use root browser lite and go to (system/app) for removing adfree.

You can use the modules for our device with no problems (/system/lib/modules). Those can be started under init.d (system/etc/init.d) set 0755 permissions.

here is a backup of my settings and setup for GoSMS. simply download, and move this into the directory i have within the screenshot, open up Go, open settings, and click on Go services, and restore the backup.

Thanks for posting that but I already created the settings exactly how I want them and I don't want this to overwrite them!!! Do you know exactly which setting is preventing me from receiving messages? I've been using go for a couple of years and have never had a problem. Even with your last build

np. and the thing is, Go creates multiple backups. so you can drop that in there, it has a different time stamp so it wont mess with yours, just create a backup, and remember the name of it.... and then load up mine, see if it works, if it does, then you know its a setting your missing in the setup. worth a shot.

Under GO settings (Advanced), there is a section titled "Important Tips" ... under that setting group there is a setting "Stock SMS Disabled?"

Make sure that is checked. This should resolve your issue...

I would generally agree with this, but in my own experience CM10 has so much better battery life for me that it's a no brainer. Anyone else have that?

I disabled safe system, uninstalled recovery, removed the old safestrap, and installed the new safestrap. Now I'm stuck in boot loop. I boot into the new safestrap screen, but clicking menu goes into boot loop, as does clicking continue. Any suggestions??

did you ever move the safestrap folder off the internal card before installing the new safestrap recovery?
