BW JB AOKP is awesome.

Since installing 3.1, I'm occasionally getting messages indicating that the clock app has stopped. Anyone else seeing this?

For those that delete system files..if you have the Rom on your SD card open it with a file explorer and go to the system directory..apps and all system apps are there. It can be reinstalled or copied to the Rom system folder from there. Be sure to check the permissions are the same as other system files. I do believe a reboot is necessary to get them to show up in the app drawer though.

Flashed this morning....only minor issue I'm having is restoring b/u's from TIBU (nor reading my license on sd card to install PRO version) Parusing the forums to see if anyone has a fix/suggestions...Other than that, OUTSTANDING ROM andlaw!!! Mahalo

NO OFFENSE, Im feelin this rom, alot, but whats another good thing to check out? Maybe something with a supercharger or stable while overclocked (1.2ghz is a little modest for me)..

I know these are rookie arse questions but yo I am a rookie as far as this $#!7 goes so be cool yolanda..

BW is stable while OCed. Mine will run 196/500/750/1000/1350 using the hotplugx/sio governor and scheduler.

edit - I have a razr maxx running BW with the above mentioned overclock and it's also undervolted. I stream netflix for hours on end, listen to music, web and the phone still lasts all day.

My priorities for a custom rom are stability, battery life, and developer updates. Andlaw has created a rom that does all that for me. Try all the others if you'd like...but BW is hard to top in the quality dept.

Go to manage apps>clock> clear data.you'll have to reset your alarms but its takes care.of the FC issue

Something similar happened to me. After I downloaded tbu I went to download the pro key and it wanted me to pay again. So I went to tbu and opened it. After it did its boot up I noticed it was pro version. ? Not sure what happened. I usually have to DL the pro key also. My back ups loaded fine.

Yeah...had this problem before (flashing other ROMs) and did exactly what you did and was GTG. Now, its stuck on the ffree version when I've got my key on my sd card....

Okay what are governors and which one works best with black widow....I have hot plug cause it always pops up but what does it do??

For the TB issue, a reboot (maybe even a cache and dalvik wipe) will get your market back on track. Always has for me.

Same thing happened to me going to the new JB. I made a copy of the license file and put it on both the internal and external SDCards. The update changed the default from internal (sdcard0) to external (sdcard1). Not sure if it's the same for you guys but that worked for me.

Hey Andlaw, what's up with your stock preloaded icons vs the icon pack... they aren't the same. Take a look. Any chance of getting a set of the darker icons ?

uhmm.... open Apex settings, theme settings, and enable BWicons... i quit theming most apk icons since i use my icon pack now.

I tried searching the thread and didn't find anything relating to tethering with this ROM. I came from previous ICS version of Black Widow, installed Aokp version and had zero issues. So, first, let me say this ROM is great!!! Loving it!!!

Now, under old version of Black Widow, I used FoxFi to tether and had no issues. Under this ROM it kicks back an error. What is suggested for tethering???
