alright guys, so this is just a special treat for the people who follow the thread., and this new style will be included in future updates. This is a small update, i just polished up some images in the framework-res, to give the blacked out backgrounds some detail. Im sure you guys will be seeing/noticing a few of the changes along the way, as im trying out new effects in photoshop. but enough talk, here is an update zip for Aokp 3.1. Just reboot to recovery and flash, no need to wipe anything.

I push updates, and i also explain every time if you need to do a full wipe....... if you dont want to wipe data, then dont wipe data. If you dont though, you will more than likely run into problems, thats why its always a suggestion to do a FULL WIPE. not to mention, if your a crackflasher, always flashing.... then a good program to invest in is TiBu.

Face unlock.. Is not going to happen on these builds, if you want face lock, stick to a blur based rom.

no offense? if you want to run another rom, check out the other threads, please dont come in here to ask other people whats another rom to flash.. kinda rude. and Scripts to OC and switch out governors and I/O schedulers can be done on any ROM that has init.d support. you dont need to change ROMs to OC. and 1.2ghz is modest? its pretty damn good for a phone lol... and BW is not about speed. its about better battery life while still remaining fluid and responsive.

Hey I know you were going over this earlier about the custom lock screen but I just flashed your 3.1 update didn't wipe anything and when I unlock my phone it won't go....it opens up Google search and camera just fine but just wont unlock......no big deal really just letting u know I'll try again when I get home with a full wipe

full wipe, and just flash 3.1 and it will all work. and recommended grab the framework-res i just released and flash that afterwards, along with BWgtalk and u will have what its supposed to look like.

Woah woah, I ain't here lookin for static.. I like this rom and I note that you work pretty hard keepin this updated but Im not familiar with the device let alone any of the roms. I ask about other roms cause I assume someone already using this would be more adept to throw me in the right direction than say someone on the MUIU forum or stock forum.. Im not looking to replace this or find something "better" but more or less learn what this rom is about and what similar roms are out there.. I guess I learned is battery life and smoothness..

Face unlock isn't important to me, just something I noticed wasn't there so I figured I would ask whatsup with it..

Im just trynna learn, and I figure asking questions is a good way to help me with that so If I say some $#!7 someone doesnt agree with than just let me know the drill but theres no need to take it to the heart. you asked questions, i gave answers. there was no "static" given, and i just clearly stated its kinda rude to ask about other roms in my thread... but each rom is different, so read the OP's and try them all. this thread is for BW tho lol. that is all. and i have no clue what "1.2 is mo" is supposed to mean..?!

quick question there's a few apps that i would like to invert example google now,calender , play store and maybe some others
can i use say inverted apps from a zip i have from 8/20/12 or is there certain ones i should use ?

.. Play is already inverted. Google Now and Calendar you can place the apk's in your system/app directory with (rw-r--r--) permissions set and after a reboot they should be blacked out. I use the calendar too much to invert it (and imo the stock looks better, main reason i hvnt blacked it out), and Google Now i never enable since its a Battery drainer. but i find it odd you ask about Play.. since its already included in the ROM and blacked out.

Too tipsy to reflash the 3.1 update, but. Right now, Unlock ins't working unless I unlock into camera or Google Now and then hit home...

I'll restore my 3.0 and then flash 3.1 back over it and report back.

Updating from 3.0 to 3.1 will wipe all my settings, correct? How can I restore gmail accounts? Tibu does NOT work for me!

it doesn't wipe it for you. You Havre to do all of the wipes. Once you've completely wiped and flash the Rom you'll set up your Gmail and such.

As an added measure you can also export your contacts to sd and retrieve them via import in people/contacts settings... but if you have gmail synced to contacts, setting up gmail should get them all back.
