That would normally make sense, but Ive taken pictures with an AOKP based ROM... wiped, flashed the exact same AOKP based ROM, and the gallery still doesn't show the picture.

Is there any workaround for this bug? Anything to make them show up in the stock gallery again, or am I just stuck using quick pic until a more permanent solution is found?

well i did some testing. i have my bw 214 rom in slot 1, and my bw aokp jb in slot 2. i activated slot 1, and recorded a video using the modified blur camera. i then rebooted, and activated slot 2, when i opened up gallery, it would only display a blank box for my previous recorded video from the other rom. when i open camera, instant FC.

when i clear the app data, and then delete the video from my gallery, camera opens and works great. so the problem is, the gallery from JB, doesnt like videos taken from a blur rom. You will need to move them from the external sdcard which is where the images are being stored within the DCIM folder. sorry there isnt a work around, none other than removing the media from gallery. This is the only way i have found... that will clear up any issues with camera/gallery not working on Jellybean source ROMs.

heh, Ninja~ i was debating it... but i ended up buying a brand new Razr Maxx. i needed a super battery to keep me juiced through the entire work day since i work up on the mountain away from a source of power. if i ever happen to get the phone, or a close buddy.. i will develop BW rom for it, but can't build if i cant test. maybe one of these days... but.. ya.

Gotcha. I couldn't resist the Maxx HD myself...I mean, 3300 mah battery along with the new improved processor...I am thinking I should get excellent battery life

Cm10 update compiling now. should be up within a few hours. Also AOKP Build 5 was released, If the commits are made available you will see an Update for AOKP tonight as well., but more than likely will end up being tomorrow~ I will keep you guys posted...

hey I know this isnt the place but I alwas come to this thread and everybody who post on this thread seems quite smart and I know andlaw uses it himself but you know the new safestrap is it possible to flash over the stock rom??

You cant replace the stock rom if that is what your asking. In the past when we have bootstrap, we could use bootstrap to flash a rom, then uinstall bootstrap, install safestrap... so we could have a custom on the non-safe side, and then continue to flash on the safe side. but with the newer sources, its been safestrap only. so the Non-safe ROM will continue to be the Stock Moto ICS rom.

If that is what you were asking..

Hash has said that you will be able to replace the stock Rom in a future release, but with the recent announcement that our phones will be getting jelly bean I'd keep your stock in tact until you've received that update.
