OP is updated and the Links are Live! Be sure to grab the new BWgtalk zip (the old ones will still work, but this is the newest version (4.1.2)).
  • If your already on BWAOKP v2.1, there is no need to wipe data, or anything, just flash the ROM zip.
  • After first boot, go back and install BWgtalk through recovery. no wipes, just flash.
  • This is compatible with the newest safestrap3.05. Please read the OP and changelog in post #2. Enjoy!!
and as always, if you enjoy the ROM, feel free to hit the Like button to the OP~ Aloha and Mahalo. ..

just updated to SS3.05 and flashed the latest AOKP2.1 when I realized AOKP2.2 was available. :)
Flashed V2.2 right afterwards. Smooth sailing so far. Restoring apps now. Thanks andlaw!

When in safestrap 3.0.5 my battery shows more life left than when running bw aokp 2.2 which one you guys think is accurate? Oh and thanx andlaw for keeping our flashing needs met with all these updates and changes!!

I made a quick preview clip of AOKP v2.2 rom for people thinking of flashing ,or just for people who would like to see the most common options for customizing the ROM. It can be found in Post #2. Also i redid the screenshots in the OP to spruce it up a lil. .. Also i made a few more changes within the framework-res, which will be noticed in gtalk in the next update. CM will be updated Sunday, and possibly AOKP if Build 5 is released from their dev team. Have good weekend guys, dis guy goin to bed for work in the am.. lol

Either yes or no it is simple... partly because the ROM I have flashed smart one does not have the icons like they are in the screen shot even after I switched the different themes. Now please do not respond to my questions unless you have a yes or no. No need for internet smart arse here.

if you read the OP you would see that it states gapps are integrated and in the flashing instructions there is no step to flash gapps separate. I think anyone not familiar with flashing the ROM you want to try needs to read and then re read that threads OP. If the instructions say what to do correctly as Andlaws always do, you will not need to ask these kinds of questions. Also if you switched themes then yes the icons will change.

yes gapps are included. It states that in the op. And when you say you applied the theme, which theme are you referring to? The icon pack or shady blue?

I pray you are not judging my exp with flashing roms based on my post count. Because if you are then you are very wrong in every aspect. Also I flashed roms before it was made user friendly by safe strap and the utility program. I have been flashing this rom since ICS started and along with others I have flashed in between updates they did not have the themes or icon packs included. So maybe for this rom it is included but for the many others I have flashed it was not. Thanks for the input and save the advice for someone who is new to it. Thanks

Also mms is not working for me, sending or receiving it does not happen. It says in the change log that it was fixed for default messaging app. I have to use gosms for mms messaging. Other than that looks amazing man and runs fine!
