It keeps telling me that it is temporarily avoiding my wifi due to bad signal or something.

I have a boss arse router not 10 feet away from me lol.

Strange enough could be too close. Although mine connected right away man. I would say reboot a couple times and see if it changes any.

does anyone have the stock boot logo? I flashed the bw boot logo cause its way cooler but my speaker stopped working so im going to take in for warranty but want to have the stock boot logo image flashed back on it. I googled for it but cant seem to find it. just found ways to make my own custom boot logo. A link to the stock boot logo would be helpful. Thank you

Just jump over to your safe side stock Rom. You may want to unroot if you're taking it in on warranty.

thanks....i restored back to stock using matt's 1.81 utility so it has webtop again but still has the bw boot logo. Ive had the same boot logo for a few months and its never been replaced after flashing different roms, switching safe side, rsd, matt's utility or anything. It seems like i have to manually push the stock image but i cant find it so that i can push it

when you fastboot it should flash the stock logo, btw look here in the development section, for the MOD to change boot logos, and it should have the stock pre-loaded in it~ cant remember who made it though..

I am on BW JB AOKP and love it. There have been regular updates (which is awesome) but get a little tired of setting everthing up after performing full system wipe/reset before each update. I already use Titanium and mybackup pro to backup/restore my apps, messages, calles ect. Is there a way to preserve my homescreen folders and widgets for each time i update to a new version/rom? I would be much more willing to try new roms if the process was a bit faster for me.

well with my updates, as long as the number is incremental you dont have to wipe data. you dont have to wipe anything all you gotta do is flash the rom zip. unless its a new version, like 2.0 you would need to wipe data..

and as far as the homescreen goes, coukdnt get much easier ;) simply open up Apex settings and backup apex settings, and desktop settings. then all u gotta do is restore the backups.

(when i do a full wipe and flash a rom, it takes me 10 min or less to fully setup my entire phone).

I have fastbooted this thing at least 15 times since I customized my boot logo and it remains... so in my case it doesn't flash the logo. Even after erasing "everything" on sd/sd-ext before fastbooting, I also get the last wallpaper I used previously... not one that comes with a rom or on stock but one I either downloaded or made myself... so go figure cuz IDK.

EDIT: the wallpaper thing happens on roms i flash.

First off, I've been lurking for awhile and have to say this (AOKP 2.0) is the smoothest my Maxx has ever run. Sweet battery life, too. Very nice work, Andlaw. Thanks very much.

But ... and you just knew there was a but ... I find that my internal SD isn't mounting. /storage/sdcard0 is there with all its old files, but none of my apps which rely on those files can find them. I understand that 4.1.2 changed the way storage was set up, but I'm wondering if there's a workaround.

Now, if this is an old problem that's been covered exhaustively, you're just going to have to shoot me. :) I've spent the last three hours searching everywhere I could think of for a solution. Likewise, if this turns out to be something I should have already known, I'll take the embarrassment like a man. :)

heh, right in thx for the feedback! your internal card should mount on your PC, it does on mine.. just took a few seconds for it to connect. mounting through recovery is not working ,hi, will be soon tho

Here's an example of what I mean:

Both the top two folders lead to the same place. It would appear that sdcard1 is mounted twice (once as internal and once as external) while sdcard0 isn't at all.

It's like that in all other apps as well. Documents To Go, for example, shows only sdcard1 when choosing internal storage.

I suppose I could just move everything to sdcard1, but that seems like a waste.

I dont know if you have checked this but there is an option in System Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Advanced that you may want to check and see if it is unchecked. Its called Avoid Poor Connections. Make sure it is disabled. I have to keep that disabled in my house because my equipment and plaster walls interfere with the Wi-Fi around my desk. It allows me to connect with low signal strength and stay connected.
