Yes, I read that in the OP. I don't see anything in there differentiating the two ROMs. I've been running CM with no problems but was curious what differences are within aokp.

..so what are the differences in the two ROMs?

What we have here are two different sets of ROM's to choose from, and both are very popular in terms of stability, features for customization, better battery and speed.


so im not sure which rock ya been under heh, its been the same 2 choices since the beginning of ICS back in February. like newms just said, and i tried hinting towards.. difference are the options to customize the ROM, which Aokp has more.......... (ROM control, in system settings).

Aokp has more customization options, CM10 has better performance, they are both themed the exact same, they both come with the same pre-loaded apps. cant really say much more

Ok, so I've installed BW 2.0 AOKP with safestrap 3.04, over .211 stock. I've noticed that wifi, 3g, and 4g are a bit weaker than on ICS roms. They are still functional, but all are noticeably weaker than than on an ICS rom when I switch back and fourth (Safestrap 3.04 ftw).

Does anyone else notice this?

Aokp 2.1 is out.. and was released for a few bug fixes. but signals are fine, and of course ICS was better, as we are using an ICS kernel to run these JB roms. ..

So basically, ICS roms will have better data and wifi signals than JB roms as long as they are using ICS kernels?

Well seeing as ics has been out for our phones for awhile and jb has yet to be officially released yes. There are still a lot of bug with jb regular let alone a custom rom. Once jb releases then a lot of the bugs will be fixed.

love this rom is great the only problems i have are the screen rotation audio maxing out after each track or other changes and front camera other than that its great including battery life

Well... i used an overclocking and performance script on this ROM... it was smooth before, now its at lightspeed and yet I still get through the day great ROM man! Thanks for all the hard work ;D
