Thats weird..... i keep getting "Unfortunately gallery has stopped working".. and then when i go to the camera again its just a blank screen and freezes..

try booting into safestrap 2.11, wiping cache, and dalvik, and fix permissions, then reboot. if that doesnt work then boot into safestrap 2.11 and reflash the rom without wiping data, just do a dirty flash, and it could possibly fix it.

As always, greatly appreciate the updates to BW! I started out on the CM10 version, but switched over to using AOKP and have never looked back.

One question. I thought the latest update would include the new version of the Google Play store. I have tried installing the com.android.vending-3.9.16.apk but the app wont install and I get the message: An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed. Can anyone provide some advice for me?

same here! 214 kernel and on safestrap 2.11 and no problems with camera, gallery, or anything other than what i have listed in the OP.

Switched over to AOKP for this update. Haven't been having any issues.

MMS works fine with Chomp without having to set it up as default. Just turn off notifications in the stock app and deselect the option to delete messages (been using Chomp since I got my first droid 2 years ago and thats always been my default way of removing the stock ap from doing anything).

I am on .215 leak using safestrap 2.11 and not having issues with my camera that are not related to CM or AOKP (gallery force close when trying to take video bug). Just putting my 2 cents in on the issues.

thus implying there's a way to run your ROM without the 'blacked-outness'?

I'm itching to bump up to a JB build - and love the way yours was running..however, I just couldn't get used to the BW theme and BW gapps..

is there a way to get your ROM running with a more 'stock' look?

You can change the way any Rom is themed by getting a theme chooser theme from the play store.

try going to the play store and searching for "cm10 theme chooser themes" you will see most of the options there.

k so, since i seen quite a few people having gallery/camera issues, and i took the day off... i am going to compile another Aokp build and see if it will clear up some issues for some of you. Im powering up my main pc, takes around 2 hours to compile, then i suppose i shall test it, and if all good on my end it should be up in... 4-5 hours? I will keep you guys posted. .. sorry guys no cm10 update today~

*edit* btw i am still waiting on Play to update.. until i can get ahold of the apk i cant do anything.
