I've tried everything that everyone recommended. I have tried to flash a different rom and then flash this, I have tried installing the rom, setting up, and then flash the gtalk. Nothing works. Whenever I click the google search bar it pops up with "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped."

What else can I do??

Try booting to SS recovery and run the fix permissions option under the "advanced" menu.
Might not work, but could be worth a try. If it's fixed the MMS system for myself and a few others, no telling what else it could fix.

Oh yeah, not that it's a major issue, but what firmware are you running? (OTA .211, 214, 215)
It may not matter at all. But I'm running JB 1.3 AOKP, on OTA 211 for my OG Razr. No issues here, other than what's common to Jelly Bean ROMS for now.

Hope we can help you find a fix. Because BW is epicness!

Alrighty man, you're def welcome for the feedback and support! And cool beans, I've learned, especially a lot lately that the best things come with time.

I tried fix permissions with no cigar.

I looked into Manage apps, went to Google search and it showed that I have the app but basically there was no data within the app at all. Like 0kb of data.

So I flashed a jb gapps package and now everything is working like a charm. I wonder why no one else is having this problem (if we're all flashing the same thing)

Yeah, that is odd, cause like everyone else here, I just wiped all the appropriate stuff (he he wiped ), and flashed the version of BW I wanted and everything went smoothly.

At any rate, glad you were able to get it figured out and fixed.

Another question, is there a way to change the default storage space?

This rom for some reason swapped my storage around. (Instead of saving everything in sdcard0 is saves in sdcard1 now). Any way to change that back?

No, that's how JB roms will be from now on.

it had to be. they switched it up after i released v1.2, it will be this way for now on... on all the JB builds.

Would it be safe to just rename the "sdcard0" to "sdcard1" and vise-versa or will that screw something up?

That's because of Safestrap 3. This will flash everything on your external SD and all DHacker Roms out now are prepared for that. So internal and external are changed now > Primary SD = external SD

And does anyone here format their SD cards often or at all? Been reading about other users doing it, just curious if there are any benefits to that.
Mine could probably use it though, still have Droid X2 crap on it .

Since I'm running this rom atm, I'll ask the question here. Why is it the flash on camera doesn't work but if I use Photobucket's app (snapbucket) the "flash" semi works? It turns on the light to light up the capture area... not really a true flash, it's not super bright but more like a flashlight. So this app must hook into the flash function somehow.

dhacker and hashcode will be the ones to have to fix the camera flash bug. At this moment it isn't at the top of their list. If you know how to write code take a stab at it.

Lol.. i'm definitely not a coder but I was just curious as to the inner workings. I wonder if a dev decompiled the app they may find something... idk.
