Another AOKP update to go with the CM10.. will be dropping them here shortly~ they both have the same changes i have made through the theme work, app updates, framework updates etc. Aokp is a rebuild of Build 4, hopefully Mms works for everyone......

This is great. Downloading now. Wondering if full data wipe is necessary when coming from AOKP 1.2 to AOKP 1.3.

I followed your instructions to the letter Its a random issue Perhaps its a thermal issue..... my phone gets warm when on the phone....maybe a davlik and cache wipe will repair the issue ....I don't use Tibu I have not restored nor installed any apps yet .....I prefer to let the ROM settle in for a day or two......what's the deal with the Update can I just flash it or should I wipe and such?.....thanx for the help.

unfortuneately not all phones are created equal, some people can O.C. to higher rates than others, and some phones dont respond the same as another running the same software, we even see this happen on stock phones with stock software. I dont think he was trying to be mean, this ROM may just not work for you. May I suggest though that you wipe everything first, I mean your sd card and all, just make sure you back it up to a computer first, so you dont lose anything.

Studiorat, it's hard for a dev to fix a problem when he doesn't have it himself. I was up pretty late with andlaw a couple nights ago, trying to remedy the MMS issue since I have it, and he doesn't.

Like DROIDMONSTER said, not all phones are created equal. That's just the way it is. With special cases like yours, all you can really do is download and reflash the ROM. Or fastboot back to stock so you have a factory phone to work with. Other than that, you can hope that the updates that drop coincidentally fix little bugs in the code.

Just flashed the AOKP update, booted up my phone to send a text, and...

BAM!

Immediately noticed the blacked out contact icons! MMS, FOR MY PHONE, still doesn't work. Downloading CM10 and will see if it works for me there. Thanks andy!

It works for most people. If it doesn't work, just use handscent or gosms.

hmm.. it force closes or says app is not installed? it will happen if u flash the rom and BWgtalk in the same session.. not really sure why it would fc though..
