Were you sitting up in the area shown in the video? If so, I may have just gotten lucky cause I don't think one shot from the mob made it my way. I did take some splash damage from the boss that had me worried for a second.

No I have a different spot I camp in.  When you get to the ledge to drop down into the nexus area, drop straight down, turn around, and look to the left.  There's a little opening.  You can hang out in there behind the ledge you dropped down from and snipe the nexus in the face.  Just watch out for splash damage and clearly one hit kills from hobgoblins.  But it's hella easy to get into.  I've used that spot quite a bit.  But I was careless and let the nexus kill me, so I revived, and a couple minutes later the hobgoblin spawned and killed me.

Hmm I haven't tried that area before. The one that I used was a pain to get to as a hunter. Had to switch to triple jump and find a good starting spot to get there. After that it was smooth sailing.

Exactly why I chose the spot I use. The neat thing is you can pop out from either side.  If the nexus is being overly aggressive, I pop out from the left, fire a few shots to get its attention, and then pop out on the right and smack him in the face with a sniper.  It works well as a strat but you have to be careful.

No, his raid didn't go well because it was uncoordinated and 2 people weren't wearing headsets.  One of these days I'll have time to try the raid.

Oh how I love the people in this game.

I'm on Venus, just minding my own business trying to complete a few bounties. I'm in a area all alone. Then come the 3 stooges. I immediately knew they were doing bounties just by the path they started to take so I ignored them. Until one clown comes to me and starts shooting, punching, acting like a ass. I have enough and sit in the cave till they leave cause I've blocked the spawn. Then I get a msg from one calling me a lvl 28 troll lol.

ROFLMAO!  That's hilarious.  I ended up doing 4 dailies in the area I was in during the time it took to get one of my bounties done.  Fortunately people were good about it.  I hope I remember to switch back to sunbro before I attempt the NF in the morning.  LMAO

Wow did bungie cause a s***storm with this one!  I'm all for new strikes in the DLC, but, to make the weekly and nightfall the new strike that no one can access?  No so nice.  DLC owners have to first unlock it to access it.  Non-DLC owners get no weekly/nightfall this week at all.  To top it off they removed engrams from strike playlists for non-DLC owners.  Wow, bungie...just wow.
