Anybody else playing on the One this afternoon? I'm looking to go wreck some $#!+ today...

I normally would be but a friend sent me the digital CoD pro codes so I'm checking it out. Depending on how it goes, I may go back to destiny though. I still need to solo the nightfall with my alt.

I saved soocold a lot of time today.  Waited til the last possible minute to do the weekly.  LMAO.  I solo'd it into the chamber for the last guy....with a hand cannon.  LMAO  soocold took him out with a few shots I got in there for good luck.    I didn't even die til I got distracted.

Nice. I'm actually having minor issues, now... I'm playing Halo MCCC like it's Destiny, and it's going to throw off my Destiny when I get back to it.

I threw in Unity Tuesday just to try it out.  AMAZING game but the controls are really fubar.  And yes, it messes with destiny.

I'm actually going to be online tonight for a while so I'll add him. I've been playing halo and CoD but feel the urge to play destiny right now. Any idea what kind of help he needs, or just quick ranking up?

OK sounds good. I have two level 29 hunters and I pretty much stick to playing strikes.

A pretty decent little collection so far. I've actually dismantled probably 4 or 5 exotics I got early which were for titans or warlocks. Slightly regretting it now that I've started a warlock.

NOT a fan of the new patch AT ALL.  I like to solo nightfall and weekly and the new patch makes it ridiculously hard.  Fortunately I had a lot of patience....and time...for this week's.    Took me almost 2 hours to complete it.  And I did die to orbit once.  Lesson learned and didn't die to orbit again after that.  But OMFG it's not easy now.  Soocold, you're screwed man.

I tried to solo it once so far and failed. When fighting the 3 waves at the start, those cloaked pricks kept what seemed like teleporting to where I was and one hit kill me.

Go to the cave next to the train and wait.  Let the first wave wipe each other out, then take out the second wave, and then let the third wave wipe each other out.  Clean up in aisle 3 and then move through.  When you handle sepiks use soocold's little room to the left with the stairs.  Make sure you got arc weapons for all.

I hadn't heard of that strategy before. Gonna give it a try now. I hate that they patched the access hole that let ya get under the platform on Winters Runs Strike. There is still a easy way on it but that was the best.

I agree.  And it's not going to be easy for ME to get to it from what I saw.  As for the strat, yea, I've used it before to solo it last time.  I used my patience and time for all the arc damage.  It's maxed out.  I hit the devil walker for 38000+ damage.  Yes, you read that right. LMAO.

Ice Breaker is on my list of things to acquire.  Because you can use it to gen ammo, switch to another special, and be good to go.  Plus I'm majorly into sniper rifles.  I'm very good with them.    Glad the strat worked for you.  We basically have a strat to solo each strike.
