Finally got my first legendary items... A helmet for a Warlock, and a sniper. My primary right now is a Hunter. Blah.

I'm making one of all three. So I'm fine with keeping it around for a while.

Also, even if you suck at it, don't ignore crucible.  I'm level 29 and I ignored it cause I'm not very good at it, but, at least work on it til you're level 3 so you can unlock purchasing using crucible marks.  It will make things go faster.

It's a slow process. I'm leveling using Bounties that I know I can accomplish. And I'm grabbing all the Vanguard bounties I'm able to solo

Yup.  We do bounties every day even now.

Yes.  I did them all today and yesterday. LOL.  Also remember to select the weapons and armor you want to upgrade when turning in bounties as the XP will be applied to whatever is selected.

In was wondering why my weapons would upgrade when I turned in several bounties at a time...

Try to get in on a public event too. Even at low ranks, take a shot just to engage it and reap the rewards. First of the day gives ya a engram

Oh, I love public events. I'm all over those just for the fun of it. I even had a bounty that required me to get gold in three events. For my third, I was in a Vex event when I got killed. I want to say that I could have helped them get a gold ranking had I survived... But I don't want to overstate my capabilities.

There is a app on the play store that gives you the approximate times for the events and where they will be. I've found it to be very useful and pretty accurate within +-5 mins from the time stated.

Oh I doubt it too, this guy just straight up hates me lol. Actually, my 2 yr old has better luck than I do. He likes to pull the trigger and get the kills when I play so I decided to let him hit the A button to decrypt some engram's. Little crap got a legendary. I haven't seen one in over a month and he gets 1 out of 8 rare engram's.

Xbox One has so much better graphics than the 360! The jump was from 480p Xbox 360 to HDMI 1080p Xbox One.... Night and day difference let me tell you!
