I think my alt is going to be just for that, buy vanguard armor and break it down. Seems like the shards and energy has become scarce otherwise. It even seems like I get less doing publics.

Bungie broke the crap out of the game with today's patch. I can't do anything for more than 5 minutes before getting booted with the error code Monkey. This was and still is my fear and hatred for these online only games. My entire experience depends on their ability to keep their crap working which has been rocky thus far.

Unless I overlooked it, that article didn't even mention the fact that its not PS only, they screwed the pooch across all platforms with this patch.

No, it's PS only.  But it really pisses me off.  Soocold and I had plans to get the nightfall and/or weekly done TODAY so we could have it done and use the XP boost for the rest of the week.  BUT NO.  I'd get kicked, then he'd get kicked, then we both got kicked.  I had had enough about the 6th time I got kicked and shut off the PS4.

That is the exact same thing that was happening to me. I couldn't get 5 mins into a strike, mission, patrol, anything really before getting the boot.

Again, this is my biggest issue with these online only games. We paid good money for them and our experience depends on their servers. Luckily, Titanfall wasn't this bad but I still felt the same about it. Short of giving us something for free to make up for all the down time we've gone through, not sure of a way to make a mends.

On top of that, I got the pumpkin mask and used it yet it didn't show so I think that's bugged too.

I haven't tried using mine yet.  Servers have been too unstable.

I'm gonna try to play here in a while after the hockey game I'm watching is over. Think I'll just screw around with patrols or something since I know I'll get booted.

Seems to be better this morning.  Just solo'd weekly and did the daily.  Bought my auto rifle so I now have a legendary or exotic version of each weapon type at this point.  In some cases I have multiples with different elemental damage.  Now to level them all up. HAHAHA, right.  I need 3 more ascendant shards so I can get closer to 29.  soocold and I will attempt nightfall tonight.  If we use the same strat I used to solo weekly we should be in good shape.  Then we'll be set til Tuesday on XP.

Ya know, I've never really gotten into the exclusive talks much on either side but this is complete BS. PS owners and XB owners are paying the same amount of money yet XB is getting less content. That's screwed up from any standpoint. I'd feel the same if it was the other way around. These damn companies need to stop with this crap or just make the games system exclusive all around.

I started noticing even PS owners are saying its BS on the Destiny forums. Some have said its no different than Xbox owners getting CoD DLC earlier which they are right. But at least with CoD its only a week or two, with this its apparently a year before we will get the new strikes and junk.

Salt in the wound. We also got twice as much beta time. To me the PS4 is a better gaming console and the one a better media console. Guess destiny was designed on the ps4 and ported elsewhere

With all the new games coming out, they better focus on both consoles together and relax with the exclusive content if they hope to survive. Destiny is a great game. But at the rate that not PS owners and XOne owners are going, this game will have no fans in a years time.
I'm not even talking about the exclusive content either. I'm talking about the repetitiveness that most are complaining about, the "broke loot system", working more on PvP and not PvE. Seem like there are more people wanting PvE but PvP is getting the focus. I get it too, they want to try to compete with CoD, BF, Halo, and whatever else comes out. I just don't think they'll be able to do it. Its going to be a interesting 10 years lol.
