Email is still broken. Coming from reflash 744 to 748. I rooted, installed bootstrap, formatted /system, wiped data and cache, installed. After creating the account, it crashes and says:

The application Email Authenticator (process.com.motorola.provider.authenticator) has stopped unexpectedly.

Tried two different accounts (both are IMAP.) Tried secure IMAP and unsecured IMAP accounts.

Love the ROM but after flashing Beta 3 the calendar app force closes (com.android.calendar). Thanks for all the hard work, it's appreciated!

Because you didn't wipe. I had to patch it for the widget to work without blurhome.

I can't fully answer as i haven't installed beta 3, (process of downloading) but the message i am getting on beta 2 is application email (process com.motorola.email) has stopped.

IIRC, this one did also happen on beta 1, but on beta 1 I would also get the process.com.motorola.email error after. On beta 3 it throws the authenticator error and tosses me back to the account setup screen.

I get the same. I enter my credentials, hit next, and it FC's with the message "The application Corporate Sync (process com.motorola.provider.authenticator) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.)

I didn't take it back to .748 but i did a full system wipe, cache wipe, dalvik wipe, format/system..... It does seem different than Beta 2 though since I was able to sync in Beta 2 but the "Email" application wouldn't work. This time around it's the Corporate Sync that has the issue.

Thoughts? Thanks again for all this too DT. You make this phone worth having.

I am going to VZW today to buy a new RAZR. This Bionic is making me sick and the building blind $#!+ sucks.

First off, LOVE this ROM. Great work...

Using RazrBootstrap
Was on Beta 2 with no issues (.748).
Upgrades to Beta 3 by doing the Cache wipe, Format /System and wipe Dalvik.
Received 3 text messages with no notifications (sound or indication on top bar). I checked to see if my setting stayed the same and they did.

Reloaded with a full system wipe/Factory reset, Cache wipe, Format /System and wipe Dalvik.
Same results.

Went back to Beta 2 full system wipe/Factory reset, Cache wipe, Format /System and wipe Dalvik.
Now all notifications work perfectly.

You sort of make me want to start developing for the Razr, with your pure dedication. I have no idea about any of this, but I do know C#, C++, php, ruby, some other obscure programming languages. With those do me any help in becoming a developer?

I had similar results, exchange sync not working (must have i use this phone for two different exchange emails) and I got consistent motorola app FCs after two complete wipes and reflashes. I can confirm that 1% battery is working

motocast still doesnt work...now it lets me get to the sign in screen but claims there is no connection whether im on wifi or 4g/3g...
also, the battery indicator is now the one that you guys have been working on but still is in 20% increments...

That's good news. That is the issue in the setup also. Not sure if I can patch it but I know I can decompile setup.apk and nuke it. Lol
