Don't know if I missed it in fhe forum, but on my phone the home button does not work. I have to use the back button to get back to the home screen. Any help, from anyone? Thanks
your problem likely came from restoring bad app data from titanium.

Thanks again! I know I'm not supposed to post FCs on a non-clean install, but I'm not looking for you to look into the issue either. Just thought I'd report my situation.

Just updated the extreme version. Everything went relatively smooth. TiBu seemed to be giving me FCs right off the bat (especially when viewing my apps with Go Launcher). And initially I had one FC regarding the Market. I simply did an install of the update on top of my currently running rom (stupidly without making a backup). Other than that it seems ok, although it looks like it overwrote the battery mod (which I'm guessing is normal).

Ok, I take back what I said about the TiBu FCs. looks like it was a stupid problem with an update to the 'Audio Manager' app locker :-P

I had an old copy of the Infex rom running this morning with no issues. I set up the extreme version of this rom, and it works. I can't figure out where to install the wallpapers, and I didn't want to have to set them up manually each time, so I restore the older Infex rom backup to see where they go or to grab the wallpaper APK from it. I reboot, and it sits at the loading screen. Expensive brick.
I download the massive file on the work network and recover to 744. Flash goes fine, sweet. I reboot and it locks up at the *stock* loading screen. Is this even progress? At least I might be able to return a stock 744 brick to the Verizon store (haven't even had it two weeks).
I take out the SD card and the SIM card, reboot, and it loads up fine. I reboot with the SD card in, and it loads fine. I reboot with the SIM card in, and it loads fine. I reboot with both cards in, and it loads fine. I don't even know which of the two caused it, but it seems like one of them.
Oh well. I'm updating to 748 now so I can get back to where I was. I should probably back up this ancient SD card just in case it's dying.

The battery indicator in the notification bar reflects single percentage decrements as the battery discharges.Sorry guys pretty new to all this. What is the 1% battery?

It is a Moto thing. Certain apks with certain resources, depending on the edits just plain will not work.
The updates are easier, smaller and less evasive. What is the issue you have with them? Lol. This is the same reason why full wipes are required on some updates. Now that can be eliminated and there is a problem with it?

It's not an issue I have really - I've been flashing different ROMs so I was trying to consolidate the process of flashing yours (b/c flashing once would be easier than flashing-booting-flashing update). But I'm also curious in general what process you have to do thru to sign the zip.
So theoretically could I edit the ROM's zip and then sign it myself? I guess my question boils down to: are you doing something special to sign it OR could I just do something like this: ?

I have to use the back button to get back to the home screen. Any help, from anyone? Thanks

you can't sign it with Moto's keys. Only way to use the sig is to drop the modded res folder and android manifest.xml into the stock apk. That still won't let it cold flash with the mods I have in the system.apk.

Ohp. And now my home and search buttons aren't doing anything. The phone vibrates but it doesn't interact with the UI at all.
EDIT: Didn't even restore app data...
I had issues with home button when I was fooling with different launchers. Try resetting defaults for your default Go launcher or whatever you might of changed it to. I don't use titanium also

Yeah, I am starting to think GoLauncher has a bug.

Don't go off giving my razr hot flashes. I dealt with that from my mom enough.

OK, I have seen this sooo many times and it is wrong. I didn't even have that damn app installed and still had this problem. Something somewhere is obviously up. When I flashed this rom, my home button worked. When I flashed the UI update, it did not. I did not replace the launcher, I did not replace the lockscreen . The settings in go launcher for the home button were ok. I don't know what is going on...but no one can really seem to pin point it.your problem likely came from restoring bad app data from titanium.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...but I remember reading that doing a restore without wiping cache and dalvik causes this? I have not personally done a restore yet, but those of you who have..are you wiping anything? Are you guys just going into recovery and hitting restore? Did it restore fine? I would love to know cause I might need to flash a backup sometime in the futureThe strangest thing just happenned.

last time i tried a restore i wiped data and cache. it failed in restoring system so i reboot and it boots up just fine into whatever was restored...it seems to get all but the finalization in system, i then reboot back into CWM and restore my data from the same backup and everything is super. if i restore without wiping then i get bootloop and have to reboot into stock recovery to wipe data in order to get phone back.
