Make a Folder in C: named "fastboot"/ Extract the VRZ_XT912_6.5.1-73_DHD-11_TA-3_1FF_02.xml.zip and grab the system.img and boot.img from the extracted folder and put them in the "fastboot" folder you made. Extract the moto-fastboot.zip I posted and take those files out of the extrcted folder and drop them in the "fastboot" folder.

Now: Plug your phone into the USB/Open a command prompt with Admin privileges/ type the following for WINDOWS:

cd c:/fastboot
moto-fastboot flash boot boot.img (It will send and write)
moto-fastboot flash system system.img (It will send and write)
moto-fastboot -w (It will erase cache and Data)
moto-fastboot reboot (it will reboot your phone)

DONE

NIIIIICE!

Never fails, Never bootloops and I can restore my phone 3 times while someone is using RSD. LOL

I will make a one click Fast Boot Restore one night and put it up. Then you can just hit it and when its done you will have a restored and rooted phone with Boot Strap ready for you to break again.. :)

I'm having a issue. The home button doesn't take me out of the app i am in. Which sucks because then I can not do anything. The back button doesn't work either. I went into applications to change it but it doesn't give you he home option nor do any of the other selectable options work. The go launcher built in doesn't seem to have a option to change that preference either. Is this just me?

if you didn't wipe EVERYTHING like the OP says or Restore old Data and System with Titanium it will do that.

yes very NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCE. but until DT does the one click fast boot restore RSD will most likely be the fastboot of choice for the majority that doesnt like to (lazy) to do this method.

Once it is setup, there is less involved really. Hell, you can even Copy and Paste the commands into Terminal. lol.

I definitely did a full wipe. I will just try again I guess. My titanium was acting like it didn't see the backup I did so I didn't restore apps I manually did everything talk about annoying so that wouldn't of altered that. I will do some back ups and reapply.

Yeah, In the long run TiBu isn't much of a time saver. lol

I despise that app. Always have and I always will.

Pickup AppMonster Pro. It will back up all your APK files, then you can quickly go through and reinstall them afterward. You'll have to set the apps up again, but that's the part where Titanium Backup always fails on after installing a new rom.

I just use ROM Toolbox Pro, I use the app for a ton of other things anyways. And it backs up / restores apps + data perfectly, in a nice, fast batch.

:-D :-D

Download this moto-fastboot

Make a Folder somewhere called fastboot. Put that moto-fastboot file and the system.img and boot.img in there.

cd to the fastboot DIR and type the same commands except add

sudo ./ before them (Example: sudo ./moto-fastboot flash boot boot.img)

Bad Download. Click the big ZIP icon in the middle of the screen, not the small folder download.

Pull the system.img and boot.img out and put them in a folder with the moto-fastboot binary. cd into that DIR and

sudo ./moto-fastboot flash boot boot.img
sudo ./moto-fastboot flash system system.img
sudo ./moto-fastboot -w
sudo ./moto-fastboot reboot

Done. LOL

No issues, No problems, No time at all.

Here are the moto-fastboot files
