It really is quicker and easier to just use fastboot as opposed to RSD. Then you don't have to deal with recovery and wiping data.

As simple as

sudo ./moto-fastboot -w

5 mintues and you are restored and booted.

If i can not wipe data in stock recovery this is the route i will take, Thanks for the info!!!

Pull the system.img and boot.img out and put them in a folder with the moto-fastboot binary. cd into that DIR and

sudo ./moto-fastboot flash boot boot.img
sudo ./moto-fastboot flash system system.img
sudo ./moto-fastboot -w
sudo ./moto-fastboot reboot

Done. LOL

No issues, No problems, No time at all.

Here are the moto-fastboot files

Much cleaner pull down. Header is gone, relocated the Clear button.

Is this going into the not your personal rom? :) I like the look! You have done an outstanding job with this, somebody said it but i'll repeat, will really be hard to go to ics when it is available.
Thanks!

Also I have to step in here. I read every post on every thread. Just in case you where wondering. DT said if you guys want my personal build, don't complain about stuff not being there. Now this does not apply to everyone, but a few have been a little ruff around the edges. Here is my suggestion if you use one blur item DO NOT FLASH THE EXTREME DEBLOAT.
2) You have to understand that Motos bloat is intertwined with everything, especially the razr. This makes it very tricky to deodex and make mods. So in other words, there is going to be problems. If you have not done what DT said to the letter and restored your old busted up corrupt data from tibu then don't post to you do a clean install. AM I being a A$$ maby. Droidth3ory does this for fun and we appreciate everything he shares with us. I don't want him to stop posting because ppl bother him or are ignorant. So please read all the posts before this, to see if your question was answered if not always check your MD5 sum, try to reinstall it, if that don't work then post your problem.
Thanks for all the butter DT ;)

+1 - I've already had my asshat question of asking for an ETA :P I've since learned that patience is a virtue, and greatly appreciate everything DT has done for us here. Keep up the good work!!!

Not sure if this is an issue only for me, but thought I would provide some info just in case. After flashing DT's extreme personal rom my data roaming was turned off. Since I live and work in an area where I roam quite a bit this was an issue. The fix is pretty simple but requires purchasing SqLite throught the market. This is a great app and comes in handy for other uses as well; I highly recommend buying it.

Once you have SqLite installed, open it and go to Settings Storage (there are 2, you want the one with the gear icon). Next open Settings and then Secure. Find the entry labeled data_roaming, hold on the data field at the right and change it from 0 to 1. Save and exit and data roaming should be turned on. You may need to do a reboot, although I didn't.

Admittedly, I am a bit of a noob with all this; I just read a lot when I encounter a problem. There may be other (better) ways to solve this problem, but I thought I would offer what I had learned and possibly save someone else some time.

To DroidTh3ory: thanks again for doing all this great work. I am loving this rom! Its like having a new phone.

That is because the Data manager and collection is removed. My area is solid and Roaming is never so I always remove it. :)

That's what I figured. I am from Michigan and still travel around the state a lot. I wish we had that kind of coverage here in WV!!

A few nights ago i had the bootlooping issue and i did the fast boot... easy as hell. Took about 5 min or so and i was back at stock ... did the ota and rooted... then jumped right back into messing with the system files. Its kinda like the mouse that eats the cheese even though it knows its gonna get shocked... its like but the cheese is soo good, ill chance it

My Personal Build is just a more aggressive debloat of the public build, so it will be in both. The new UI plus a few other goodies are in 1.1 now. There are a few things I want to try to do before I release.

Any chance at getting some sort of an addon for docks for your personal build? I'd love a more stripped down version but can't go w/out my dock.

If it's too much work, don't sweat it.
