I used the promotional code for a free DNA yesterday and so far I'm very pleased with it. The only thing that I need to get used to is the new platform. Beats Audio is simply amazing, screen resolution is phenomenal and it's very fast. Anyone have any battery saving tips other than carry a charger with me?

Welcome to the club man....
As for battery saving... Turn on auto-brightness. Turn off GPS until you need it. Uninstall facebook unless you need it. Don't play word with friends. Haha..

I have the screen adjusted almost to minimum, turned off sync for e-mail and Facebook and weather, using a dark wallpaper and turned off mobile data connection and WiFi while I'm not using the phone. Since I live in an area with weak 3G signal (2-3 bars) no scene in wasting battery searching for a signal or connecting to WiFi, right?

Not a phone gamer so no worries there...

That's about the best you can do. I can also recommend
app. It will take 3 days to learn your usage then adjust your apps to save battery. Works pretty good. Also you should look into tasker. It's very powerful.

I was looking at Tasker when I had the standard battery for the Bionic until I got the extended one.. I'll give Tasker another look since the DNA is stuck with a 2050ma battery. I'll also give the Snapdragon app a try too.

I get about 30 hours with moderate usage, nothing turned off. I find the battery amazing on this thing, beats my GNex with extended battery by a long shot.

Are you running stock or a custom ROM? I'm on stock and and am down to 30% after a full day at work and light usage. Granted the phone is new and the Snapdragon battery app is still in learning mode but still, half the usage and half the performance is strange.

Do you maybe have signal issues were it struggles a bit more? Dave's area is probably really strong. I get a days moderate use and when I throw it on the charger at night I am at about 25% My HD runs at about 40-50% when I go to bed.
