I don't use hotspot or tethering so I just don't know. Sounds like this poster found a way to buck the system though.

Well with the Verizon HTC one releasing today looks like Newtoroot who build Nos M7 is gonna have a build up for us DNA guys tonight based on the system dump from the One. It's still 4.2.2 but it will be cool to have an almost entirely working 4.2.2 Sense rom while we wait for the official 4.3 update in the next month.

Rom is

I've also been looking at that ROM and it looks like most of the bugs are ironed out too. I've tried a few ROMs and seem to keep coming back to ViperDNA. I love the customization of it and it's soooooo buttery smooth. I'm kind of in the mood for a pure Google look and feel for a change. I put CM10.1 on my Kindle Fire and so far it's working great, love the look and feel might as well take the plunge on my phone. Eh, who knows I may just read up and take the plunge. If I do I MAY have some questions on the new file architecture.

So far everything is working buttery smooth. WiFi, Hotspot and tethering, SMS, MMS, in call volume are all working as advertised. I'm even on the stock kernel and have yet to run into an issue. Anyone looking for a pure AOSP ROM CM10.2 09032013 is the one to try.

Hmm... very nice. How's your signal? I noticed when I ran Carbon it was noticeably lower to almost no bars. How's your data?? Any data drops or looking like it's taking a long time to switch between 3G and 4G??

Well about that..... The icon shows no bars to one bar but the signal is still showing 3G -90dbm or 4G at -100dBm depending on what tower I'm connected to. As far as I can tell there is no noticeable difference...

Edit: seems as though the switch over from 3G/4G is flawless as well. :D 3G signal strength in Brockport, NY is hanging around -65dbm to -75dbm. Download speeds are quite fast too.

Edit 2: Only thing I can find that isn't working is voice to text. That's no big deal since I barely used it on stock. This ROM is defiantly worthy of a daily driver. There is also a GSM patch for those not on Verizon. :D

I disabled beats and use viper4android fx and xhifi. The sound they produce is pretty bad rear end. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2
