Make a backup and Try them all! That's the beauty here.

Anything sense is stable...

There are a bunch of Sense 5 roms where everything works. I have run Newt's Nos7 Sense 5 Rom. Actually for quite a while. They all lack in customization after Viper but Sense 5 is lighter and I kinda like some of the subtle tweaks they have made.

tranquil DNA is sweet and has quite a bit of customizability. Not quite as easy to use as venom hub, but all the images are high quality which is nice. Theme is pretty cool too.

I'm assuming crpalmers kernel will work on any scene 5 ROMs?

I'll try crpalmers first then compare to beaups.

It's just smooth and stable. I had some rebooting issues with crpalmer. Don't know why, even sent him logcats and he couldn't figure it out either. Loved his kernel, it would just randomly spaz out every now and then tho on my phone.

It seems every phone is different. Back months ago there was a BAMF kernel that made my phone go insane. Reboot festival to the point of 3 seconds into boot, reboot. What a nightmare considering the Kernel was the last thing I checked when troubleshooting. I had your random reboot issue with Zarboz beastmode Kernel. Since then I always stuck with Cr's since I have never had any issues with it.

If I reflash NOS 7 do I also have to reflash the kernel? I'm thinking yes since I'm wiping and reformating the phone. More thinking out loud than asking questions.

So far I've had stock kernel and crpalmer kernel running with no issues. Well ok one small issue playing around with venom tweaks but I don't think that was kernel related.

Yes... I believe that Rom will put you back on stock. I usually flash rom, reboot, set-up, back to recovery, flash kernel, reboot

For those using Beaups Kernel. Make sure to download the app "fast charge" from the play store. It's free and needs root access but this option is turned on in this Kernel and once you turn the app on it is supposed to charge faster. From what I have seen with minimal charging it seems to be at least twice as fast.
