OMAP : NO
2012 devices (razr hd/m) : Yes, with caveats. Read.
Warning - Must be unlocked
These devices may be downgraded if special care is taken with the FXZ you're downgrading to. Certain partitions can NOT be downgraded, so if you attempt to flash the FXZ as is, you will brick. Yes, even if you're unlocked.
1) Use my RSD Flasher or House of Moto tools with the universal option.
Or
2) Extract the FXZ zip file. Edit the xml file with an editor like notepad++, and remove the lines for flashing the gpt and tz partitions, and save the file. Open the newly modified xml file with RSD Lite, and flash away.
2013 devices (moto x, Droid ultra/maxx/mini) : NO
Attempting to downgrade these devices post 4.4.2 will likely end up with a brick. On certain forums you'll see posts pop up now and again discussing some foolproof way of doing it that totally worked for the person posting it. And that may be true. They may have been able to do so. The thing is, it's like a game of Russian Roulette. For every person that it supposedly works for, there's several more that brick trying it. My advice, don't try.
2014 devices (moto x) : Um what?
What the hell you gonna downgrade to? The things aren't even out yet! Lmao. When they do come out, the answer is almost assuredly NO to downgrading.
