I was preparing my phone (Droid Razr XT910) to upgrade it to Android 4.4 (
).It was currently at version 4.1.2.
This is what I did:
1. Rooted the device
2. Used RootChecker as well as Vodoo OTA Rootkeeper to check if the root was really successful
3. Installed RazrTouchBlack to run ClockworkMod Recovery (version 5.8.4.5)
-- everything so far as specified here:
4. On step 6 from the above link, I got an error message at the end: "could not backup Data"
5. So I tried the option Backup into Internal Storage. This time the backup completed succesfully
7. I selected Reboot now
-- Description of problem below
8. At reboot I get a screen saying "Error on coding" and explaining that the system could not find my files and that I had to restore it.
9. After pressing Restore, it reboots and goes to a screen with the green Android and a progress bar.
10. It finishes its work and shows Motorola Logo
11. It gives the same "Error on coding" message
12. i tried booting into Recovery Mode and it says: "DEVICE LOCKED: status 0"
I didn't go any further. What should I do next?
