The letters do actually work. All I did was change the icons for the apps that I had in the dock. Tha Phlash has icons in each pack that are just letters so that's what I used. I always have the same dock setup (people, text, app drawer, Gmail, and web) so for me it was easy to know what icon opened what app.

I would like to thank Tha Phlash for doing this whole thing. I've been a huge fan of his work for a long time so for me, to see him on the site was beyond awesome. I'm always checking out his Google + page to see what new icons he makes as well as what other people do with them. Very few devs are as dedicated to the community as Tha Phlash is so again, thank you for everything.

I would also like to thank Solongsidekick for setting this whole thing up.
