I installed safestrap using the 1.82 razr utility here. I installed the recovery state with the safestrap app. Safestrap app says recovery state installed safe system not active?
When I restart the phone and hit the menu button a very very light screen starts saying safestrap is disabled and system will start in 10 seconds and the phone starts normally.
How can I fix this?I have a Razr Maxx running 4.0.4. Please help.

You need to touch the menu key when the very light screen starts saying safestrap is disabled to get into recovery then set up a new rom slot, then activate the new rom slot and flash your rom of choice then safestrap will be enabled.

are you hitting the menu key before that screen comes up?

I was so now when I see the disabled screen I hit the menu button and safestrap started voila. Thanks. So please explain when do I hit the menu button? I got it to work but not sure the correct way?

You need to let it start to boot then that screen will come up on its own, once it comes up hit the menu key and it will take you to recovery.

Ok. When I do that I get the menu with 9 choices but it says safestrap disabled at the top and no boot menu choices?

Thanks. Yes I did but I am thinking about going to version 3.05 of SS. Is 3.05 as good as 2.11?

Ok I installed 3.05 and want to do a backup. The backup section makes the cache and .android security backup OPTIONS. Are they necessary to include?

ss 3.05 hasyour stck rom already backed up. keep a nandroid backup, but flashing is simple with safestrap3.0.5

Hello please I have the same problem with Safestrap disabled.I've installed Android 6.0.1 on my Droid Rarz Xt912 and I accidentally deleted the Safestrap folder in Es file manager and the phone is rebooting saying that safestrap disabled.Please I don't know how to do? Help me to reactive Safestrap.
