Here's a new test build for the RAZR-HD:

This has 1 BUG really in the recovery and that's how the handling of /sdcard changes if you activate a rom-slot. Make your backups to the ext-sd and you'll be able to restore them to rom-slots.

And this should boot them up correctly with the /sdcard showing the right files.

I'll do another bugfix version once I fix the internal sdcard handling inside recovery.

REPORT: Let me know if this fixes the stock ROM paid apps issue.

Back on stock to test now.

[EDIT 1] Play store force closing when trying to update apps so i'm going to go into recovery and wipe cache's and check back.

I am also having the same problem. Have tried wipe cache's and fixing permissions in advanced. Still force closing on play store.

is there any reason why when i restore my backups i cannot get passed the droid eye boot screen? it just sits on it animating and never moves passed that. i have tried 2 separate backup restorations and neither make it passed there. the boot animation goes through its entire run, however the boot sound only goes halfway, then cuts off.

they were done on the jelly bean leak.

any help is greatly appreciated....someone please help me out im lost for 3 days now i need the backup to restore.

For restores currently, you can only use "system" and then wipe data/cache/dalvik.

Giving that a try now. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the reply also. :))

What exactly am I losing when I wipe those three areas? Can I restore them to my device (the data) from extracting the contents of the data.win file?

Just factory reset, it wipes data and cache.

Yay, progress! Storage reports the proper size again.

Unfortunately, purchased apps still fail.

I would like to note that I went back to .12 and ran that vitreous ROM I think the name is that was mentioned earlier and as stated installing paid apps works fine. Maybe something there to look at?

My storage is now showing what the stock slot should be while I'm on rom-slot1.

Paid apps also still not working for me either, I'm on Vitreous 1.2 right now, odd thing is paid apps worked on the rom-slot when it was a restore from the stock slot but quit once I flashed anything else.

Not sure if this has been brought up before but I've noticed no matter how I try I can't get the clock to set properly in settings. I set the time zone (EST) real time was 4:02 PM however the phone was saying it was 6:52 AM.

I noticed this issue in the twrp for the dev unit as well...I don't think it's a SafeStrap specific issue...but then again, I am not a developer, lol

If you run vitreous in a slot with Safe Strap 3.05.12 you will be able to install paid apps. You can't if you are on Safe Strap 3.05.15.

Are you talking about in SS or also while booted into your ROM? I've noticed that SS was showing the wrong time but keep forgetting to check if I can correct it by the time I get done doing whatever I went into it to do in the first place.

It would work out that way, I updated SS from .12 to .15 right before flashing 1.2. I guess I'll try going back to .12 unless .1X comes out before I get around to it.

It has worked for me to be in stock slot and install .15.
Boot into ss and create ROM slot. Activate back into stock and install .12.
Then back into ss and flash ROM.
Has allowed paid apps on stock and vitreous 1.2

I know its a process but might help.

That would only be in SS. ROM's always have the correct time. I think it's been happening from the 1st release of SS, I just finally remembered to mention it.

You can play around with time zones etc to get the hours close but no to make up the difference in minutes.
